Big Skinny Men's Hipster Bi-Fold Slim Wallet, Holds Up to 40 Cards

I have to carry a passport and lots of cards regularly for work and travel, and this one wallet does it all. I initially tried the big skinny passport holder but did not like the top loading, stacked card layout. Just casually tossing my wallet on the desk or dresser as I usually do and the cards in the top slot will fling out. The stacked card design didn’t bend too well in my back pocket either. Tried out the hipster bifold and this is the one. Can still fit my passport, but the card layout is a more secure side entry, and it has this natural bend point because the card slots aren’t stacked on top of each other. And it even has a slot for wider international paper currency.

I don't post many reviews. Most products I purchase on Amazon are good and "sufficient." I'm giving this one five stars and wanted to add a review to cement my opinion.This wallet is exceptional. Exceptionally thin, but still strong. No worries about the material falling apart. But it is the "thin" part, coupled with numerous very convenient and cleverly designed slots that can carry a lot of cards that have me quite happy with this. This is a great success story of "industrial design" that was clearly built to real people's needs and wants. If you are looking for a new wallet that will accommodate all your cards and more, but not become an obscenely thick nuisance, I highly recommend this Big Skinny product.

I need to carry a bunch of cards and keep a ton of receipts for business and this is the perfect wallet. You can easily hold 20+ cards and there are 2 extra large bill compartments so I can conveniently keep my cash and receipts separate and organized. The tall size also allows for me to neatly carry business size checks and a small pen. The best part is even with all this stuff it's not even 1/2 inch thick whereas a regular sized wallet would be 2-3 inches thick and nearly impossible to close. The downside is it looks pretty worn now and it's maybe 6 months old, but it's holding together well. I would expect it to last 2-3 years before falling apart. At this price I don't mind springing for a fresh one every six months to keep things looking crisp.Edit: 7/13/17 Well it almost lasted a year, it's still perfectly functional but the fabric has frayed and it's become quite dingy. Definitely time for a new one. I thought I would try lightening the load and bought a regular sized Herschel to replace it, but it was 5 times as thick with only half the stuff in it. I returned it for the leather version of this wallet. I guess I'll just have to keep reupping every six months or so, there's no going back now. I wish they would make these more stylish like Herschel's though, or at least more colors.

I love this wallet! Skinny. Quality fabric. Retains its shape. Has a "grippy" material in each sleeve to keep cards from popping out. Has plenty of room for LOTS of cards.My only grievance against this wallet is that, for some reason, the sleeves on the left side feel deeper or longer than those on the right. I can take the same, identical, stack of cards and put them in a "left sleeve" and barely see them where if it were in a "right sleeve" they would be easily grip-able by my thumb. It's a very minor annoyance and one I can live with easily.

I have lots of wallets. I don't like many of them, for reasons unique to each one. In between trying new ones and having them given to me as gifts, I have a drawer of unloved and unused wallets. My favorite, a simple nylon double pouch, died after 25 years of faithful service, and I couldn't find another one of its kind, or even the manufacturer. (As you can tell, I don't appreciate wallets as fashion accessories; I have been given designer wallets, all more-or-less badly designed. If a designer wants me to have his name on my wallet, he should give me his credit cards to put in it.) All of my wallets were too bulky, too thick, or both.Tried the Big Skinny, perhaps under false pretenses (not a hipster). It is only slightly taller and wider than my late lamented favorite, but considerably thinner. Everything fits that needs to fit, and a few extras besides. Carries well in a front pants pocket or inside suit coat pocket. Very comfortable.Not particularly keen on the way the logo is attached, but a trifling qualm buried in a wave of appreciation for good design. So far, it seems that it will hold up well. I hope to buy another in about 25 years.

Update: It's been more than a year since I got the first, and I got two more (another black, and one blue) for other currencies. I simply can't use any other wallet after using this.Old Review: The best slim wallet design I came across so far. I used to have a hipster leather wallet before buying this product. The old leather wallet was as thick when empty, as this wallet with 30+ plastic and business cards in it. Like any new wallet, it took a while for me to get used to the new layout. But now, after using it for 9 months, I don't even look before pulling out any particular card I need. Quality seems top notch, and looks durable too. The wallet easily fits in my jeans pockets, front or back, but I generally use the back pocket. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a functional and slim hipster sized wallet.
