Works as described. Great price. Love the black and white pattern and overall shape of the umbrella.

It’s my second one, the first one broke after 2-3 years but still better than the ones sold in the beach shops. Easy to fix on my chair and different angles.

My husband's work moved buildings and they had a skylight that shined sun right in one employee's face while trying to work. This was an effective temporary fix until they could cover the skylight.

Great concept and product prior to clamp failure. Because the locking mechanism is plastic, it is not as sturdy and failed after a lot of use over 1.5 summers. Bought 2 initially, one of which the locking mechanism has failed. Bought another to replace it, and now it seems as if the remaining original’s locking mechanism is on the verge of failure. A metal locking mechanism would correct the problem, but would be more expensive to manufacture & thus the margins would not be as good for the company who makes them. If the problem isn’t corrected, I will probably purchase from a different company in the future.

I purchased this to attach to my daughters power wheels. I didn’t know what to expect and didn’t know if I would be able to attach it to their car but after a few modifications, it works perfectly. If you are using it for just lounging in a chair then this is perfect, if you are going to be using it on other applications such as a kayak or something like a power wheels, it may require some modifications to get it to work. The only negatives I noticed was that the clamp would still spin on the bar that I tried attaching it to regardless how tight I made the nut. I added my own bolt through the clamp to fix that problem but another issue I have noticed was that with any wind blowing under the umbrella, like most smaller umbrellas, it would turn inside out. Again, I’m using this for purposes that it’s not intended for. If you are using it for what it’s intended for then it would work as expected and even those that are looking to use it for different reasons such as myself, I think it’s worth the buy.

I upgraded my Big 5 Sporting goods umbrella to this one and it is quite the upgrade (also like $25 more, but worth it and here's why)Firstly, The clamp is big, it fits on all the camping chairs and tables I've attached this shade to. it has multiple joints so it really can get into the perfect shade cover. Also the design is cooler than the other soccer parents, and beach days that we use it. All in all great shade umbrella.

Used the umbrella a few times now and it’s been drupy. After really looking at it today I noticed it’s broken. I’m past my return window so a bit upset I can’t exchange it. Friends have some very similar and they seem great. I’ll try again next summer and pay more attention when I use it the first time.
