These pads worked well for polishing a clear coat automotive finish (after using another product to apply a heavy cutting compound). I used a polishing compound with these pads to restore the clear coat finish, and the results were amazingly good. You will most likely be happy with how these pads work and hold up to use (I made two passes on a large automobile, and the pads are still in useable shape - win).
