Awesome product, This is the only speaker on the market that plays from the usd flash drive stick.good value and price, loud speaker will fill up 100x100 sq ft area with enough sound.the bass is not great, look like one speaker. light weight. old USB charger. hope they will upgrade to c-charger. but for the money this is the Great 5+ START PRODUCT.The size is big too, close to 1 foot in length. Has a FM radio and micro SD card slot.easy to use on the go. we took it to camping site on trip to Wild wood state forest and everybody amazed.My family loved it during outdoor party. I wish they would take a picture with something for scale like a Coke can or something. When you turn it on it has to talk to you..... I really don't want to wait to listen to some recorded voice, and the voice file sounds like it was recorded in a bathroom, right before shipping. Please for the love of god and all that is holy, just turn on or off.Sound is decent. However there are volume limiters that you have to press longer to pass, and the stupid volume limiters on the phone etc... Annoying.... If I want to crank the volume thats what I want to do. Unfortunately won't make your ears bleed. It does get decently loud for its size and I'd love it if it got louder.It defaults in blue tooth mode..... I got this specifically so that I could listen with a flash drive.... it defaults to BT even when a flash drive is inserted.... dumb, should default to the drive it it is in.Volume buttons share the skip buttons. So when you are listening to a good tune and want to turn it up, it goes to the next song unless you stand on 1 foot and say the magic word when trying to turn it up....Battery is decent no complaints on thatHow to get 5 Stars:Get rid of the stupid voice, just turn on if I wanted something to talk back to me I'd tell one of the kids to clean the bathroomHave separate volume buttons.It could be louder.

I should have noticed by how light it is that sounds woul be good, first off battery life was not good and got worse in the sound is tinny and strap broke

When i first saw this speaker it looked much bigger in the advertisement. It was bought as a gift for a not so tech savvy person and just pushing a button to get the radio or just using the USB is much easier than connecting via their phone on Bluetooth. Sound wise they loved it,I personally would had sent this back if it was for me.i like crisp clear sound and bass that booms,at peak volume sound distorts. I also thought from the advertisement this came with a shoulder strap the strap looks like a damn wristlet. And the person I purchased this for loves it and I love them that's the only reason this gets three stars

It summer and we needed a new portable speaker for the pool and back yard. After searching various models I chose the Pyle Portable Bluetooth 100w speaker. It is full of features, we love the bluetooth connection to our phones for Sirius XM but what i really love is the micro SC card slot so I can load up MY music on a card and it plays all day long. The battery life on this speaker is INSANE too, we charge it up and it runs the entire weekend, providing non stop great music. I really like the compact size, its small enough to fit in any carrier but the big sound is awesome. WIthout a doubt, I highly reccomend the Pyle Amplified Speaker.

I needed to replace the boombox that I use for my laptop speakers, and it was difficult to find one with features I require. I will not have a "voice activated" device in my home, I do not ever use bluetooth, and my speakers/boombox never leave the arm of my couch and stay plugged in to power source and aux 24-7, so I thought this one would work. I was happy it was made in the USA, but whoever designed this thing never put it to real world testing, it seems. The first problem is charging cable and aux cable sent with it are way too short and wouldn't reach, so I was happy to use my much more robust cables. Sadly, the charging port and aux port are so close together, my son had to destroy my charging cable by shaving off plastic and he still had to force them in the ports...they're crooked and likely won't last very long. Second problem is the volume buttons. They're very hard to operate in the dark. I listen to audiobooks at night and it's a pain to adjust the volume with these tiny buttons. I can't even remember which is up or down, so it's a guessing game. Third problem is the sound only comes out the end, so I have to set this thing on my computer desk, pointed at my head so as to not disturb my husband while he's sleeping, which means it can't sit on the arm of my couch...the "feet" on the bottom doesn't keep it there very well anyways, but ugh...the sound isn't what I'm used to from one little tweeter, it's not coming from the "right" direction for me and I've just been nothing but disappointed since I opened the box. I bought this for myself for my birthday...so, yeah. Here I am, shopping on Amazon AGAIN to try and find the right speaker to fit my needs and I'm just going to let my son have this one. What a bummer.

First off the volume that people are complaining about.!!!!!!!!!When you power it on and it says you are connected to you device. Push and hold the volume Up button, until you hear a beeping tone on the speaker. After that, then use your device that is connected to control your volume. The radio works good considering that it has no antenna outside of the speaker. When at home I can get about 10 stations. When at work in a mill by Lake Michigan I can get 3 stations. But I have had no issues with connecting it to my phone. It only has one speaker. I compared the sound quality difference against a altec lansing life jacket 2. They were very similar. I do think the Pyle speaker sounds better, personally. I have just recently purchased a second Pyle speaker, so I can pair two of them together. I will update and possibly do a small video of it. But overall I think the price is right for the speaker.
