Does the job well
Let's me play my old Atari micro on a modern display, works well!

Works on some retro machines
Got this for my Atari 520 STFM and it works ok on low res but not for medium as text is unreadable. Can play games with it. However I also have a Spectrum and a ZX81 both of which have the composite mod and it works very well them going to a relatively modern monitor and led TV that have a VGA input which is very handy.

Quality is OK, don't expect razor sharp pixels.Used for old retro microcomputer to a newer LCD panel.

IDEAL REPLACEMENT
SECURITY SYSTEM FAILED, FAULT TRACED TO LIGHTNING STRIKE, REPLACED THE VGA CONVERTER, NORMAL SERVICE RESUMED.

Good Device
Used this converter with a professional closed circuit TV system, no noticeable deterioration in picture quality.It is very lite may need to be stuck down but technically as good as more expensive devices.
