So, this is probably the 3rd one I've ever bought, only because I've misplaced mine.I've never had any problems with mine leaking, the mechanical seal that it's designed with just works! It doesn't even need a gasket.As far as mixing goes, it mixes really well and doesn't have that annoying blender ball that always seems to grow legs, that on it's own makes it worth it.It's easy to disassemble and clean, just make sure to clean the threads too if you don't want a lingering funk later.To Shakesphere: bring back the orange with pearl coating model!

I use this for my protein powder and also sometimes for mushroom coffee - it’s perfect really. Not too large and not too small. The design of it really mixes the powders in nicely.The top is easy to put on and seal so I don’t have to worry about it leaking (unless I don’t put it on correctly or tight - which has only happened once and it was my fault). I’ll also add that it’s really easy to clean.I recommend this.

I despise clumps and unmixed protein powder in my shakers. Some designs work better than others, but inevitably there is protein powder stuck at the bottom, an no plastic or blender balls seem to get it all. Protein is expensive, and it is frustrating to clean your shaker only to find it wasted at the bottom.This Shakesphere tumbler is probably the best I have ever used at mixing thoroughness. The design has consistently resulted in complete mixing of a variety of protein powders. After scores of uses, I have 100% mixing success, without any clumping or loss of powder, all without any blender balls or items inside the shaker. It is actually quite impressive; after all these years of shaker bottle designs, someone figured out how to actually get them to do their primary job of mixing powders.The shaker is easy to open and clean, and I have not experienced any leaks. The sliding cap for the opening takes some getting used to, but it seals well. While it slides into place and seals well, it would be nicer if there was a click or a snap sound that let you know it's completely closed.My only complaint has to do with the spherical shape of the bottom. Yeas, it's the spherical shape, like a capsule, that gives it the amazing mixing power that it has, but what ends up happening is there is a very small base at the bottom for it to stand on. While this isn't too much of an issue when it is on a hard surface, like a table or counter, I found it became problematic when trying to stand it on softer surfaces, such as a bench at a gym. The small base makes it easy to knock over. Now, the lid seals well, and there aren't any leaks...but if you leave the lid open for easy access or if you choose to use a straw, then there could be some spills. That is the only reason this item isn't 5 stars.I am very impressed with the ShakeSphere and am looking at in eating in a metal insulated one. If you hate losing money to your unmixed protein powder, this shaker is worth the money.

I've had this for almost a month now and I've got to say, it probably the best shaker I've had so far.Pros:-SizeThe shakesphere can hold the same amount of liquid as blender bottle , but is not as tall. I find this very useful when I take it to work in my lunch bag as my blender bottle usually stretched it, or had to carry it out all together.-Shape for mixing and CleaningThe oval design makes it easy to clean and no gunk can form along the edges if you forget to wash your shaker.It is also great for mixing. I used to use a protien powder that would foam up a lot when mixed (probably a bad batch). I used a mixer ball along with my shakesphere, thinking it would help, but I had the same results. However, when I used the shaker by itself, I had much better results than with the ball.Cons:-The slide lid is pretty tough. I always have to use a lot of force to pry it open, usually ripping of the slide lid altogether (thankfully the slide lid is designed to be removable, so you simply have to slide it back on). I understand it's trying to be sealed and leak-proof, but it's pretty stubborn sometimes and I'm scared I'll just break it off completely.Overall: Great shaker overall. Would definitely recommend.Pretty much what's advertised is what you get.Side note: my friend (who introduced me to this product) bought the orange and white shaker with the transparent center. He's had it for a little over a month now and sees chipping on the white paint in the lid, exposing the orange underneath. I got the grey one, so I don't notice this issue, but that may be something to keep in mind.
