Perfection in Every Grain
I have been a housewife for over 60 years, and in that time I've made a lot of rice and you'd think I'd be able to make perfect rice; but no. I've tried steaming, boiling, pilaf and risotto and the cooking results were hit or miss-either mushy, crunchy or burned. But since I started using this dandy little and reasonably priced rice cooker, the Aroma Housewares One Touch Rice Cooker, the rice cooks perfectly every time whether it is balsamic, jasmine, brown, or long-grain rice. It makes no difference; the rice is perfectly cooked. The rice cooker is easy to use and clean and comes with its own measuring cup (I have the 6-cup cooker) and spatula. Just be sure to rinse the rice before using to remove the excess starch. At first I stored the rice cooker in the pantry, but now that I use it so often, especially to make make poke bowls, it has a prominent place on my counter. I highly recommend this rice cooker for cooking perfect rice every time.

Easy to use Rice Cooker
The media could not be loaded. The Aroma 6-Cup Max Rice Cooker is incredibly easy to use—just add rice and water, press a button, and let it cook. The rice comes out fluffy and delicious, with no guesswork involved. The automatic keep-warm function ensures it stays ready to eat without overcooking. Cleanup is effortless thanks to the nonstick inner pot. With a 6-cup cooked capacity, it’s great for small families or meal prep, and it can also handle quinoa, oatmeal, and steaming. For a simple, reliable, and affordable rice cooker that delivers great results, this is a solid choice.

Quick, safe, attractive, very easy to clean
I use this for all kinds things besides rice: it's a great little kitchen cooking pot. Safe.Low price. Heats quickly, doesn't burn. Switches from COOK to WARM on its own. Easy to wash cooking bowl, nonstick coating. Use it every single day. Manufacture

Good pot but a little bit small
This pot cooks rice really good, and very fast, about 20 minus. And the outlook of this product also looks good. But, the sizes is a little bit small than I thought, and it's too light and even lighter than the glass lid.

Simple, and virtually idiot proof. Basic rice cooker
Your absolutely vanilla basic rice cooker with only two functions, cook, and keep warm. Essentially idiot proof if you follow some very simple instructions. This is the original design which took Asia by storm in the 1960s and became the ubiquitous appliance in every Asian household. No bells, no whistles, no steamer, slow cooker, or digital display (which is a GOOD thing, as I can attest as my previous cooker which just happened to make rice as one of its many functions started to smoke before it broke completely). DON'T ever get water near the electric base unit. Remove the cooking liner from the unit then use the provided 180ml cup to measure cups of rice (note, DON'T use an actual one cup measure since this is too much uncooked rice using the pot water level markings), then rinse several times to wash away the rice dust (unless you like your rice very sticky, I don't, and it also washes away potential contamination). Then refill with water to the appropriate number of cups (of dry rice measure) embossed into the inner removable container (so far my only complaint is the very black nonstick coating makes the numbers very hard to read without bright lighting). Then insert cooking liner in cooker and press the button. Literally one button control. My only suggestion is to put this on a dedicated power strip with a switch, otherwise you will be perpetually plugging and unplugging the unit, since plugged in it is always on "warm" mode when not cooking and plugged in. Personally, I leave it on warm for about ten to fifteen minutes on warm after the switch pops before serving to let it get a bit less wet on the bottom, but that is just my personal preference.

Perfect rice every time and quick
Really like my rice cooker there’s no guessing. The instructions are very easy to understand and it comes out perfect every time. The size is just enough so not a lot of leftover rice. Would recommend purchasing!!

efficient
The Aroma Housewares 6-Cup Rice Cooker is a compact and efficient kitchen appliance that is perfect for small households. It cooks rice evenly and consistently, and the 6-cup capacity is great for making just the right amount without taking up too much counter space. The one-touch operation is simple to use, and the automatic keep warm function ensures your rice stays ready to serve. It's also versatile enough to steam vegetables or cook other grains. Cleaning is easy with the nonstick inner pot. That said, my last unit only lasted about two years, so I'm hoping this one will have better durability. If it holds up well over time, it's a great value for the price!

It’s definitely worth it
I’m honestly so impressed with this rice maker. It’s small, compact, and fits perfectly on my counter without taking up too much space—which is a huge plus. Despite its size, it makes absolutely perfect rice every time: fluffy, evenly cooked, and just the right texture.I saw a few reviews mentioning messy or mushy rice, but I had none of those issues. I bought the exact same model and I did 1 cup of RINSED white rice per 1.5 cup of water, added butter and salt and it worked flawlessly. Honestly, I think those complaints might be due to user error rather than a problem with the machine itself. If you want a reliable, space-saving rice cooker that gets the job done, this is it. Highly recommend!
