Very Happy With My Choice - especially for Sourdough Loaves
This is a great knife, especially for the price. I was looking for weight and sharpness, and so many of those knives were over $100.Ths knife came packaged in a study black storage box.SHARP and solid. The grip is just right. I wanted a knife to slice through that tough sourdough crusts, and this works. I bought the 10" on recommendation for versitality. I'm happy with the size. I also bought a knife cover separately to keep the blade sharp and hands safe!

Impressed!
My old Henkel bread knife was having a hard time getting started in big sourdough loaves so I ordered this one honestly because of its price and 10” length. Could not be more pleased! Cuts great, and appreciate the beefiness of the knife. Very well made.

Heavy blade
I am a Knife lover, and Really like having the right knife for the right job when I’m in the kitchen. I have been using a rada Bread knife for years and it was getting Dull, and I didn’t want to spend the money to have it sharpened. So I’ve went to this knife. My overall impression is that is Fairly heavy And the top side of the blade is sort of thick. I prefer a lightweight knife. I am giving it four stars because it is razor sharp, which I love. The main thing that I do not love is that it makes my bread crummy when I slice it, and it’s really difficult to get a pretty, smooth slice. I first thought it was because the blade was so thick at the top, but after observing it some more I Think the heavy blade is causing the slices to get wavy, and the deep scallop on the serration is causing crumbiness . If you look at the picture, you will see that The scallop is actually fairly deep. If you compare this with Rhoda or Victorinox, you will see that both of their scallops are shallower. I will keep using this knife for a while, but I would not buy it again.

Very good quality, well balanced, very sharp, thick blade. Nothing flimsy about this bread knife. The blade is a bit long for me, but I got use to it. I would buy this brand again.
