Sierra Auto Tops Headliner Replacement for Ford Mustang 1999-2004, Velour Canvas, Black

I needed to replace the convertible top on my 2000 Mustang, at first I just purchased the top, but after removing the old top, I decided that while I had it apart, I should also replace the headliner for a few dollars more. I watched some YouTube videos on how to install a new top and headliner and proceeded to install the headliner per the YouTube instructions, it was way easier than I had expected, and the headliner looks great. Highly recommended for DYI, or take it to your upholsterer if you don't want to dive in and do it yourself.

I waited a month for this liner. It doesn't fit it has wrinkles in it. I can't because the window has expired due to waiting on installer. Garbage is all I can say. Such a waste of time and money

A bit hard to put in but with my new top it is swell

Pretty easy to install. I have a 2001 mustang and the rear bar was the only tricky one. The heads on the screws that attach it to the rear bar face the rear of the vehicle. You will need to remove the rear part of the window piece to install this. It does NOT come with instructions. All the bolts for the headliner required torx T20. You will need to staple the front over the front bar underneath the vinyl top and will also need to be stapled underneath the window piece on the rear bar so some stapling is required. It is the only part that you need to fit as the rest of it pretty much fits out of the box and is held on by screws. The sides by the rear windows are held in by small plastic push-rivets that you will need to buy also.I docked a star off of the rating because some of the elastic pieces that are supposed to hold screws were missing the fabric that was supposed to be sewn over them. It seemed the one I received wasn't quite finished. Two of the side attachments weren't there at all and were instead replaced with two long pieces of string. I managed to tie the string around the screw where the attachment was missing and tightened it down to where it feels snug.Other than that this thing is pretty well built and good quality. It should last me a long time.

The color is spot on. Fitment was great. Install took me a little over an hour. I'm happy with it.

Great product

This was for a 13’ mustang convertible. We had the top replaced a year ago but didn’t do the headliner. I wish we did at the time. This replacement was great. Two two of us to install and for already doing the top. This only took us a couple of hours with trial and error.
