I'm a big fan of DIY dermaplaning and have used several tools for this previously, including the "tinkle" style eyebrow razors and specifically designed dermaplabing blades, however all of these have been totally "manual" tools, I was initially interested in the Veet product due to the added vibration with the tool.My first impressions were good, the tool was neatly packaged in a small cardboard box, it is supplied with a drawstring storage bag, a battery, a second dermaplaning head and two small vials of moisturising oil to use before the treatment.It was easy to assemble, pop the battery in, click the head into place and remove the safety cover from the blade- simple!I started with gently cleansing my skin to ensure that there was no makeup or skincare residue, and then thoroughly dried my face.I then proceeded with the treatment- I applied the supplied oil and used the dermaplaning tool to remove the vellus hair from my cheeks alongside darker hair from my upper lip and dark hairs from around my eyebrow region.Its important to ensure you're holding your skin taught when using the tool to make sure you've removed as much of the hair as possible, and to ensure you get the full benefits of the exfoliation too.The gentle vibrations certainly helped to ensure that the exfoliation was as effective as possible, it took me less than ten minutes to complete the treatment, and I had zero irritation following use.After completing the treatment, I gently cleansed my face a second time and applied a light moisturiser, my skin was smooth and glowing!The following morning my skin looked and felt just as good as it had the night before, with zero redness or irritation, and my makeup and skincare applied like a dream.I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone interested in at-home dermaplaning, newbies and those who are more experienced alike.For those who are new to the treatment, as long as you read the instructions and follow the recommendations, it's a piece of cake!

Very quick delivery from amazon, less than 24 hours!This is battery operated which I didn't expect, battery included in the pack.Not sure the battery operation does any more than make the shaver noise and it does take a little bit of patience to go over your face to remove hair. Saying that, it does work. Removes the peach fuzz and exfoliates. This is the first time I've ever used this kind of thing to remove facial hair, I normally get this threaded or waxed. Must say, being age 44 and told NEVER to shave my face when I was younger I was sceptical however my daughters assure me that this is the best thing to do nowadays for a lovely base for your make up. Results were not too bad at all! I am quite pleased to be rid of my lockdown moustache and chin hair and even have super smooth peach fuzz free cheeks now, something that threading and waxing just can't achieve. Feel this little device will be a god send over lockdown, not sure anyone notices or cares on zoom team meetings and at the supermarket mind you, but I do!Not too bad a price at 21 pounds. I'm not sure how much these are priced in the shops.

Found it really useful but can’t find the refills so haven’t been able to use it in a while and had to switch to another product !! :(

I wasn't sure what to expect from this product. Dermaplaning is something I had been looking into but due to lockdown the timing left me looking online for solutions I could use myself. Some tools on sale seemed to be more for professionals and I really didnt want to harm my face. I came across this item from Veet and due to it being safe and easy to use I decided to purchase as it is such a reasonable price. I also purchased a spare set of heads as I like to be prepared so if I like the outcome I'm set up to continue use. I have now had this for a month and used it twice, as instructed. The first time I used the tool I was very precise and collected the debry on a tissue and k was honestly shocked. I follow a skin care routine and my skin is not awful however I was shocked to see the dirt which came off my face.Applying the face oil which comes with the item, it helps to glide the tool over your face easily. As someone with quite a lot of 'peach fuzz' on my face, it felt strange to have my face feel so sensitive. The wind on my face was such a strange sensation, but I guess only the same as shaving your legs for the first time ever. I got used to it after about a week. It is not noticeable when the fuzz begins to grow back and is only very slightly noticeable to the touch. Overall I'm really happy I purchased this and although dermaplaning in a salon is more invasive in getting impurity out of the skin i think this is working just fine for me and could save me a lot of money in the long run.

I was very concerned about dermaplaning because I worried that facial hair would grow back thicker and darker.However, I couldn’t have been more wrong. This is the second one I’ve purchased. The results are fantastic and your skin is left feeling super smooth.In fact, when I went to work my good friend asked had I had something done ha. I am very very pleased with the result.The instructions are easy to follow and using the product is very easy. I think you just have to have a few attempts of getting it on the right angle.I got a little redness after completing it. The redness does go down and was no problem for me.I like how it comes in a little pouch / bag making it a nice essential to travel with.Definitely recommend and will never be without this product.Definitely worth the money.

DON’T BUY THIS!!! Veet have discontinued the replacement blades so after 2 uses it is obsolete, Veet should not be selling this anymore or should at least make it very clear you cannot use it after two uses. I have tried to return it and it says I can’t, very disappointed
