Perfect replacement to compressed air can.
We have been using the 10oz compressed air cans to clean out our iRobot Roomba. They have been working satisfactory but if you hold it down for 30 seconds or more, the can gets chilled and thus reducing the air pressure. Making it a real PITA. This has the same pressure with no limitations on how long to use it. Cleaned out the Roomba several times (more than 7) so far and still appears to have full charge. We have used it probably 90 to 120 seconds of continuous blowing each time. This would have been impossible using canned air. A little noisy, but who cares if it works. We do not have babies who would be sleeping.

Works great for reloading and gun cleaning
Update 08-06-2022I have been using this air blower for almost 3 years to reduce my canned air usage. I use it on a regular basis (several times a week) for gun cleaning and reloading cleanup. It has worked flawlessly the whole time. If I’m cleaning several guns at the same time it does get fairly warm but does not effect the performance. Before purchasing the blower I was using 2 1/2 to 3 cases of air a year and have reduced that to less than a case a year. The blower has more than paid for itself.Highly recommend it!!=================================I purchased this to replace most of my canned air needs. I use it primarily for my reloading needs and gun cleaning. It is a little on the noisy side but since I use it in max bursts of roughly 60 to 90 seconds it’s not a real issue. It works as well for cleaning up after a reloading sessions and gun cleaning as the canned air I was using previously. I was using a little under 2 cans of air a month and in the almost 3 months I’ve been using it I have used less than 1 can of air.I don’t use it for cleaning computers or other items so I can’t speak to the long term usages issues others have listed.

Good product...if it works.
Well, if it would have lasted...I emailed the Canless Air company mid March 2015 because it wouldn't charge anymore. (one year and one month after the purchase, it was shipped Feb. 2, 2014) They refused to replace my device. They offered a 15% discount, but a lot of good that does me. I recharged it 4 times. I work at a school and we are off at least 3 months out of the year. They refused to work with me. I am very disappointed because this is so much safer than using chemical canned air around students. I emailed back asking again for a replacement and got no response. This is my second purchase. The first one quit working within the first year. The company replaced that one.Very disappointed...

5 years old and still a great upgrade to original; very "green" replacement for canned air!
Updating reviews as we have had this version of Canless Air for just over 5 years now! We haven tested the 2018 variable speed model.Highly portable, rechargeable, and environmentally friendly substitute, in many cases, for canned air or data vacuum. This newer version is even more powerful than the original, and gets 4 stars from us! This version is still an excellent replacement for many uses of canned air and far more portable than a corded data vac.Pros:+ Lithium ion battery holds charge well; we treat batteries gently and don’t charge unless just in use and remove charger after “green” led comes on+ A truly “Green Product” in our estimation compared to canned air+ as portable as “canned air” so keep it handy in a toolbox, see hint belowCons:- loud, but tolerable with simple foam ear plug hearing protection- less forceful than canned air- could use replaceable rechargeable battery, but this one has lasted 3+ years still going strong!- wish it had a washable foam pre-filter- this version only includes the charger + two plastic extension "straws" to get into tight places. It does NOT include the holster or attachments- trigger can easily be activated if stored in a tool chest. We have a separate plastic ammo box with a bit of foam so the trigger is very difficult to accidentally activateOther Thoughts: The newer X3 version is a good bit more forceful than the original and this 2nd generation Canless Air. Wish we could give the X3 version 4.5 starts and this one 4 stars in my review. The rechargeable battery has excellent life, but we agree with other reviewers, this would be even better if the battery were replaceable. We are also experimenting with foam around the base to catch hair and dust before it is blown back out through the impeller and air jets in dusty environments. This is NOT meant to compete with Dyson products for reasonably quiet, extremely efficient air handling. We also own a Metro DataVac Pro 2, a 5 star product in our estimation. Together, the two just about completely eliminate the need for canned air. One thing the DataVac Pro does, this blower isn't good at: cleaning around laser printers and copiers where you wouldn't want to blow out the toner laden dust!We recommend ear protection for ANY of these vacuum/blowers or with canned air!
