Comfortable, rugged and ready for all terrain!
I picked up the NORTIV 8 hiking boots for a recent trip to the Lake District and I’ve been incredibly impressed. From first wear, they’ve been solid performers — combining comfort, waterproofing, and great grip at a price point that’s hard to beat.Out of the box, they look smart and tough. The construction is clearly high quality, with reinforced stitching, solid metal eyelets and a durable outsole that doesn’t feel like it’s going to wear down quickly. I went for my normal size (UK 10) and the fit was spot on — roomy enough for thicker hiking socks, but still snug enough to give proper support.Comfort is excellent — there’s good ankle support without being restrictive, and the cushioned insole and tongue make long walks much easier on the feet. I’ve done multiple 10–15km hikes across mixed terrain (stone, mud, steep inclines), and they’ve kept my feet stable and blister-free.Waterproofing is also fantastic. I’ve waded through puddles, walked in heavy rain, and crossed shallow streams, and not once have my socks ended up wet. The upper dries relatively quickly too, and doesn’t stay soggy for days like some heavier boots. The sole provides excellent grip — deep lugs that bite into soft ground without clogging up too easily. I’ve had no slips even on wet rocks or muddy tracks, which is exactly what you want from a hiking boot. The only thing I’d mention is that they’re a bit heavier than lightweight trail runners — but the added weight brings durability and protection, so it’s a fair trade-off.In short, these NORTIV 8 boots are brilliant for weekend walkers, serious hikers, or just anyone who needs a tough, waterproof boot for outdoor work or leisure. I’ll definitely be buying another pair when these eventually wear out.

1 month review the caretaker review
i’ve now had the Nortiv 8 Men's Waterproof Hiking Boots for a full month, and I can confidently say they have exceeded my expectations. Over the past 30 days, I’ve tested them both indoors and outdoors in a variety of conditions, including sub-zero temperatures (around -5°C), rain, sun, and cold weather, and they’ve handled everything exceptionally well.ComfortFirst off, these boots are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I had no issues with break-in time, which is a huge plus. The cushioning inside is just the right balance—not too soft, but still supportive enough for long hours of walking. I wore them for several long indoor walks and outdoor treks with no discomfort or irritation. The mid-cut design provides just enough ankle support, while still allowing for good mobility.WarmthOne of the main reasons I chose these boots was for their ability to keep my feet warm in colder weather. And they definitely deliver. Even in temperatures as low as -5°C, my feet stayed comfortably warm and dry. The waterproof lining ensures that snow and slush don’t seep in, which is crucial during cold weather hikes. The insulation isn’t too heavy, though, so I imagine these will be fine for moderate temperatures as well. They strike a great balance between warmth and breathability.Weather ResistanceThe waterproofing has been stellar. I wore them through rainy days, trudging through puddles and wet grass, and my feet stayed dry the entire time. The boots performed just as well in the snow, where the tread gave me excellent grip and traction. The boots have a rugged, slip-resistant outsole that works well on slick surfaces, offering great confidence even when navigating wet or icy patches.DurabilityAfter a month of regular use in a variety of environments, they show minimal signs of wear. The upper material still looks great—no fraying or tears—and the rubber sole has maintained its structure, showing no signs of softening or losing traction. The stitching is solid, and I haven’t experienced any issues with the waterproof membrane.VersatilityI’ve used these boots for hiking, walking, and even casual outings. They’re versatile enough to handle trails, city streets, and even some light climbing. Plus, their stylish design doesn’t scream “hiking boot,” so they look good even off the trail.ConclusionThe Nortiv 8 Men's Waterproof Hiking Boots have really impressed me after a month of wear. Whether it’s enduring cold, wet, or sunny conditions, these boots are comfortable, functional, and durable. If you’re looking for a boot that can handle a variety of environments while keeping your feet warm, dry, and supported, I highly recommend these. They’ve definitely earned a permanent place in my outdoor gear collection.buy them i paied 37 they pop up for 33 from time to time

Very comfortable./Not Waterproof.
I was dubious about getting these but decided to try as a good price. I have a wide foot, most size 10's squeeze or pinch. Not these, realy great fit, comfortable and light. Not very waterproof though. Got caught out on the Brecon Beacons in very heavy rain. Boots were soaked in minutes, however coupled with 1000 miles socks they remained comfortable with great grip which proved usefull on Jacobs ladder which was extremelywet. Probably best to use on dry days. As you can see from the photos they took quite a battering. Even if they only last a year I would buy them again.

Boot's
Delivery was very quick. The boots look great, are super comfy and so far are exceptional value for money. I'm a size 9, but ordered a size 10, which I think was the right thing because they are a perfect fit.

Very comfortable
Suffering from an arthritic ankle, I was looking for some boots with decent support around the ankle. These have been an absolute godsend - comfortable, highly supportive and very lightweight. Can't say if they'd stand up to daily wear in the mountains, but they cope fine with weekend strolls with the dog in the countryside.

Waterproof Hmmm
Very very comfortable. Easy to break in. Easy to lace up. Nice feel. Very light on the foot. Nice grip. Good looks. Big eyelets.ButThey are not waterproof. The doles are a little thin so you can feel sharp rocks underfootI used them for 14 day’s hiking in Scotland and would not use them in that changeable climate again. I even used gaiters thinking the water ran off off my trousers but that made no difference. They look like they should be waterproof but they are not. I’m a mountain leader and was taking students cross country and the last thing I want is 14 days of wet feet. I would use them on nice days when there is no rain in places like Italy
