Looks like a great tool to keep the dryer vent clean. I tried it out and it appears that it will work good on our dryer.

Very economical, as in not pricey, not as in cheap. Someone should have told me about this decades ago. Simple to figure out and use effectively. Hope the maker patented it.

Mixed results. I wanted to use this to clean the dryer vent pathway on my LG TROMM electric dryer. When the dryer's filter screen is removed, the cavity is much too small for my household vacuum, and none of the attachments I have are long enough to reach down to the bottom of the vent below the filter. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my hopes, though it is good at the basics.PRO: MUCH better than my household vacuum attachments. This is just the right size to clean the area below where the removable filter screen sits. I am constantly getting lint buildup in there. This tool does an excellent job of cleaning that part of the airpath. Another pro: the build quality is good for the price, except for the wire handle. The rubber adapter is very sturdy, and the small diameter hose part is also of good quality.CON: The next stage is the problem. The dryer's vent makes a 90 degree turn towards the back, and I want to be able to clean in there. I hoped that this flexible tube and bendable wire control rod would let me make that turn. Unfortunately, this tool's wire handle is flimsy and very difficult to control. I cannot get it to make the turn from the front area where the removable filter is into the next stage of the vent path that I cannot see into, and where I suspect I may have additional lint buildup that is causing dryer issues.Summary: It does part of the job very well, and part of the job not at all. If you just need to be able to reach down a little further than your regular vacuum tools permit, this may be just the thing. If you're hoping to be able to reach further than that, I don't think this too will help.

this product worked as decribed and attached to my vacuum quickly and securely. I cleaned the dryer out and got a lot of lint out. The brush worked great on my refridgerator.

Unfortunately the opening of my dryer's lint trap is too narrow to accommodate even this small hose. The ribs of the hose get stuck and it becomes impossible to move it up and down. I also find the wire guide unwieldy and kind of useless. I was able to get into the area under the lint box that you can't see and it sucked up a bunch of lint there. I just couldn't get it to reach that area again due to the issue above which was frustrating. Everything else about the product is great. It fits tight to the vacuum cleaner hose and provides strong suction. Attaching it to a Shop Vac would provide even more. The length is handy and I can see it being useful to clean out the outdoor dryer vent, heating vents and just generally be able to get into areas where no other vacuum attachment would reach.

this was a great set. It included an adapter for my vacuum which actually fit on my dust buster type vac as the opening is flexible and my dustbuster has an oblong end. It was easier to use than my upright vac but I'm sure it would work with that too. I think my dustbuster is a little weaker so maybe that is why some lint got stuck, but it was not hard to get it out and I can not believe how much I got out.I did not find the metal thing helpful. The tube itself is flexible but firm enough that I think using that metal would have been worse. I did like the brush that was included. I first just used the tube and got a lot and then I used the brush and it loosened up a bunch more and then I was able to vacuum that too.I also was able to put the flexible tube under my washer and dryer. I can't believe this thing was so great. I had gotten one previously which was too wide to fit where it needed to go. This one is like a half inch wide maybe a tiny bit more and it fit down easily into the opening with room to move it around. I think it was about the right length too. If I pulled out my dryer I could prob clean it more from the other side. I may do that at some point. Anyway this thing is great. I think I only paid like $7-8 for it and it was worth that and more. It also does not take a lot of room to store. I can hang it in my laundry room closet so it's handy for when I need to use it again.
