This is what our dog was eating at the shelter so we are sticking with it. AI recommended alongside Purina Pro One and Science Diet; can’t speak to the differences but this was the best priced and safest option for his stomach. Wish they came in different quantities - my pup goes through 1/2 can a day, 12 cans isn’t a full months supply - wish they came in quantities of 15 or 30.

My puppy loves this food. She didn’t seem very interested in her dry food, but with this wet food she scarfs it all down. I love that you can see real veggies in it!

Our pup is only 5 months old, 4lb chihuahua, and is diagnosed with Megaesophagus. This is a death sentence unless proper care and feeing techniques are followed. The number one rule is no free liquids, and all food must be like a slurry. I stir in some filtered water till we get a consistency which slowly flows down the side of the bowl when tilted. I like this canned food because it is pre-ground and packed tightly in the can. The next part of Rule Number One is to hold the animal upright for 20 or so minutes so the food will slide down into their belly and a slurry consistency works best. But only let them eat what their esophagus will hold, they will still be hungry until enough gets into their stomachs to satiate them. 4 small feedings per day.

My puppy did enjoy the food though his stomach unfortunately did not. He ended up with diarrhea even with a small amount. The food itself isn’t bad per say, it’s easy to serve and is a good size can. It’s easy for puppies to eat, and looks like it has a lot of good ingredients in it, but I will need to switch to a different brand.
