Now that I'm in my 70's, I'm learning first-hand that older women are at increased risk for UTI's. Despite being very careful, I recently developed an infection and began antibiotics. I really wanted the ability to check my urine myself and found that these teststrips were available. The day after I completed antibiotics, I was able to verify that my infection had fully cleared (grateful!). The teststrips are very easy to use and interpret, though I peed into a cup and dipped the strip instead of trying to hold it in my stream. I had the results in 60 seconds. This has been a great product that I need to restock again! I have used this product several times and it’s very accurate I knew I had something going on and I took the test and it confirmed what the doctor said!

If you are prone to UTI or take medication that makes you susceptible, these are great. Easy to use, easy to read. One huge caveat……you can’t use them if you take a UTI medication that colors your urine. normal CYSTEX is fine. But the Cystex with extra pain relief is not. You won’t get good results because your urine is bright yellow orange. Good tool for keeping in your arsenal. Just remember……test first……then medicate.

This was delivered yesterday and had to use it this morning. I did what directions said and showed,that I did have uti. Was very easy to compare colors on stick to bottle. I went to my local urgent care and their results were exactly what mine were. The only down side once you open it the rest are only good for 3 months.
