Big Brown Patches in Your St. Augustine - Try This!!
Our community became overrun with Brown Patch, a fungus that kills just about anything that grows where it is present in your lawn. Between last year's drought and this year's high rainfall, the St. Augustine grass became infected with the fungus. After reading up on the cure for the problem, I purchased this product containing the recommended fungicide. I have sprayed it twice (about once a month) this summer. The results have been great. The brown patches are beginning to disappear as St. Augustine creeps back into the areas where it previously grew.I'll probably make another application or two to ensure the fungus has been eradicated. One bottle is supposed to cover 5000 SF, which I believe is correct. Just make sure you control the volume of water coming out (i.e. don't run it full blast) of your hose and only give the grass a quick wetting of the product. It doesn't need a lot to get the job done, as the grass absorbs the fungicide and kills the fungus. Hopefully, this treatment will last a while.

It does work, but takes multiple applications and double the product each time...
The media could not be loaded. Like other users have stated, it absolutely works but unless you are smart enough to put it down very early for preventative, it takes multiple applications. Also, be aware, if you use the liquid product (which I personally believe works better than the granules) you have to turn your water pressure on the hose on LOW. Otherwise, the full hose pressure will use up the product so fast, it will never even cover 1,000 sq feet. The best advice I can give is apply generously- as in, at least 2-3 times the amount of product suggested- don’t be scared of over applying - unlike a fertilizer- you can’t really overdo- Unless the outdoor temperatures have already reached 85 then it’s too late in the season for the liquid product.Like others report, the past several years my lawn has developed a summertime fungus. Every June I noticed small patches of white fluff, almost like cobwebs, in the morning on the dew covered lawn. These spots quickly spread rapidly around the yard creating small circular dead spots that would often merge together. Then eventually huge yellow and brown splotches! It isn't just my lawn, everyone in the neighborhood has the same issue here in the north east. The past couple of years I started putting down the granules in May. I'm not sure if I'm not using enough or if they just aren't working because even though I put the granules PRIOR to the first signs of disease, inevitably, I still get the disease. This BioAdvanced spray works wonders and stops the growth and spread of this fungus! I've used this for the past few years AFTER the fungus started - though the rating of 1 bottle per 5,000 sq feet isn't even close to what you need. I use 2 bottles per 5,000 sq ft, which is 4 bottles for my entire back yard. Even then, I need to apply it twice, 14 days apart for it to clear up the fungus. Also, I agree that it works more effectively than the Scotts DiseaseEx. However, as other's state, you will blow through this bottle very quickly and there is no way this will cover the 5,000 square feet as advertised. It is important to turn the water pressure on the hose down LOW, just to get the bottle to reach 2,500 sq feet. You definitely want to be prepared to hustle and have your hose spread out in advance to maximize your application. I don't mind spending the money if the product works and it definitely does -- again with multiple applications (using both granules and liquid.) The video is an image of the fungus before treating multiple times, the photo is after.

Saved my lawn....
For the past several years my lawn has developed a summertime fungus. It is almost like clockwork around late-June when I noticed small patches of white fluff, almost like cobwebs, in the morning on the dew covered lawn. These spots quickly turned white and then died, and this spread rapidly around the yard creating small circular dead spots that would often merge together. It was hideous, especially for someone with lawn OCD. I haven't officially identified the fungus but have narrowed it down the likely culprits to dollar spot or brown patch. So here comes the remedy...This BioAdvanced spray works wonders and stops the growth and spread of this fungus, when caught early enough in the process. It seems to work more quickly and effectively than the Scotts DiseaseEx that I tried in other areas of the lawn. However you will blow through this bottle very quickly and there is no way this will cover the 5,000 square feet as advertised. I probably had my bottle emptied within two minutes and maybe covered 1,000 square feet. You definitely want to be prepared to hustle and have your hose spread out in advance to maximize your application. You will probably need three bottles of this for an average size lawn. That didn't bother me based on the fact this product worked and saved me from the cost and trouble of reseeding dead patches of grass. Five stars for a product that works!

Great Product but not design for shipping
The product itself is great. Works fantastic, but it the packaging is not designed to be thrown in a large amazon box with several items and shipped. The bottle leaked all over other products.

Has controlled fungus so far in my yard, in conjunction with watering schedule change
Lost most of my grass every year the past couple years to what I now realize was fungus. This year I used Disease X granules initially and then Bioadvanced hose end spray. The Bioadvanced is easier to apply than the granules, which require a spreader. The one disadvantage as others have pointed out is that the Bioadvanced 32oz finishes in about 2000 sq ft way too easily. I needed 2 for my yard. With 2 separate applications - 4 containers in all - the fungus appears to be at bay this year and I might do one more application. This is far easier and less expensive than losing grass to fungus and having to reseed the yard and fill in all the bare patches.

Excellent Product
I have used this product for years on my St. Augustine lawn. This grass has a problem with a fungus that will kill the whole lawn, if not stopped. One spray of this chemical will stop the fungus from spreading and a second spray about 15 days later will usually end the problem. I purchase a bottle of this same exact product at the local chain store hd for about $10 more before I looked at Amazon. Great Buy, so I puchased 3 bottles. This should last several years.
