Expensive hope it works good
A little tricky to calibrate other than that hope it works upon opening there is a plastic rubber around the tip for protection there were little glass shards not sure if that’s just from the factory hope it works out

More annoying than its worth. Cheap tip
Product could never stabilize no matter what I tried and the tip broke within 48 hours

Great value
I’ve been using this ph tester and I love it. It’s very accurate and easy to use. It is also a very well made product. I highly recommend it. I’ve bought other ph testers that cost more money and did not work properly. This Hanna ph tester has proved to be a great value for the money.

worthless trash
Tech was as helpful as they could be.So there’s that.I stored it correcty in the Hanna solution but it didn't last but a year. The $150. instrument turned into trash within weeks of the expiration of the one year warranty.I asked if there was a repair serviceNOPESo DO NOT BUY FROM HANNA~!!!!!There is another issue with this company that you don’t see until you are already in the hole with them. You have to buy all your pH solutions from them because they only use proprietary solutions that are all off by 0.01 on the pH scale for calibration and just exactly like printer ink they charge an arm and a leg for the pH solutions you need to store maintain and calibrate. So there is a built in Trap for the unwary. But I’d have bought the solutions paid the stupid high prices and been happy BUT FOR the fact that their instrument was a piece of trash that didn’t last a year.

Avoid this Hanna PH probe if you want a good soil PH probe go to NukeHeads website and buy theirs
This PH probe broke the first week. It wasn't reading and wouldn't calibrate properly. I was told to put it in PH storage solution. I ordered a soil PH meter from NukeHeads website it came in after 3 days. It was nearly calibrated out of the box reading PH 4.0 and 7.0 nearly flawless requiring a small turn of the calibration screw and it was spot on. 3 days this Hanna was in PH storage solution I tried calibrating it and it wouldn't hold calibration. Seems others report this same exact problem with this product. I stuck it in soil after first pushing a stick to make a hole into the soil I inserted this probe and the tip broke. I had enough sent it back. UPDATE: 6 months and my NukeHeads Soil PH meter is still working great if you need a soil PH meter go to the NukeHeads website !

Not sure what to do?
I think it's an excellent quality meter. Looks like quality engineering but almost no worthwhile instructions on how to use it! No video at all that I can find. Tiny paragraphs that assume you've used a similar device before. I'd suggest call the company before you actually buy one and see if they are able and willing to walk you through it. I will call first before I return it.
