Seems to work well so far (time will tell)
So $35.00 seemed a lot for one screen (I have 3 windows that need screens) so I decided to give it a try to see if it worked. The magnetic strip is 1/2" wide, which is exactly the width of my frame. I sanded the frame and wiped it clean to get a good grip. The magnets seem to be pretty magnet-y (screen stayed in place). The instructions were a little confusing at first (the print and illustrations are VERY tiny, and there's not much detail) but I figured it out eventually. It takes a little bit of trial and error to get the screen in place and taut (it's not perfect but it's good enough), but I was able to peel the screen off and re-position it successfully. The screen feels kind of floppy so I don't think I'll be removing it more than necessary. I put it up yesterday and I'm not touching it for two days to give the adhesive a chance to cure before I put any strain on it - I'll report back after I've lifted it up a couple of times. The most confusing part was putting the corner pieces on the screen - the instructions say to peel off the protective film and stick the corners into place on the plastic strip; however, there is no sticky tape on the backs of the corners, so there's nothing to hold the corners on. I bought some heavy duty double-sided tape to put inside the corner pieces, but it's kind of thick so it's not allowing the corners to fit tightly with the plastic strip. I feel like I'm missing something here, but the instructions are not clear enough for me to figure it out. I'm going to reach out to the manufacturer to see if the sticky tape is missing on my kit, and report back.Packaged well, arrived on time. On the whole, this is not a perfect solution, but it is a pretty good solution for weird old fashioned windows that need screens!

Does not adhere. Materials not durable.
Would not recommend. It installed just fine. I questioned the quality of materials and durability and soon as I opened the package. Followed the detailed instructions but as I was putting it together I knew it was going to cause issues but I went with it hoping for the best.Adhesive is not strong enough to hold up. After a few hours I heard it colapse off of the window. I pulled the formed frame off the magnetic strip, layer it flat and put some heavy books to weigh it down and hopefully seal it. After a day I figured it was going to be as good as it would get so I put it back into place on the magnetic strip and again, collapsed after a few hours. It was a small window as well, so I can’t imagine what it would be like to try and do a larger window.Sadly will have to find something better.

Decent but Glue doesn't last, beware...
So the same story probably goes for everyone, "We needed window screens to keep dust out"I bought these screens over 1 month ago, they have been in place for over 2 weeks and this is my review to shed some light to future buyers before buying.Pros: Its a window screen, it does the job, and its fairly simple and adjustable. But this review is specifically for the struggles I had with this product, starting with the installation.-- Installation -- : It seems rather easy on paper, but unless your window is in the middle of a wall without any complicated surroundings, then the installation is not gonna be easy, In my particular case my windows are at the corners of my room and I have furniture in front, installing these as 1 guy was not simple, specially due to the adhesive problem I will be talking about later. The instruction that come with the product are not clear enough, I had to look up a review here to understand completely how the installation works. For anyone struggling or curious:- You first place the magnets on the wall with the adhesive part.- Then place same sized magnet strips over the magnet strips that are already adhesive to the wall.-- Adhesive problem --Part of the installation requires you to place the Screen material over the adhesives that the magnetic strips bring with them. The problem is that these Adhesives do not hold alone, this was my main issue while installing these, it felt impossible to hold the screen with just the adhesives while I was trying to place the plastic strips at the end.I recommend having someone there to help you hold the screens up from falling while you do the final steps of installation. After my screens were installed, you can see from the pictures that the adhesives don't last long, there work great sticking to a flat dry surface, but holding the screen and the strips it just doesn't work as well, I had to use double face tape to give it an extra grip and make the strips and screen stay pasted together. Kinda defeats the purpose if it doesn't hold itself on its own.EDIT!! (3 months later)The glue that comes with the magnetic/plastic strips does not hold well, I've had to add extra support to them with double sided tape.

Does the job!
After I found a yellow jacket in my bed one night and a bat flying around my room another it was time to find a screen for my bedroom! The only problem is all of my windows are push-out casement windows and no traditional screen would work. I was nervous about buying based on 1) the adhesion, would it damage my old growth redwood trim and 2) would the brown plastic look super tacky against my wood trim? As for the adhesion damaging my trim, only time will tell as it's only been up a week and I haven't needed to remove it. But I was super happy at how well the plastic trim DIDN'T look tacky, it actually blends in quite well! (See pic).Minor cons: 1. It did not take 10 mins to install! I am pretty handy and it took about 45 from start to finish. My window was pretty big though.2. The outer trim bent and discolored (see other pic) when I was fitting it into the corner piece.3. Trimming the excess screen wasn't easy to do cleanly, even with a box cutter. It left exposed jagged bits along the sides in some places.Bottom line, I recommend this product, it does the job and it was easy to install!
