I had trouble finding the exact spec motor oil for my Onan 4000 generator. This is OEM spec from Onan, so I used it in my generator's first oil change. I will be using it from now on.

It is required to maintain my warranty on the generator. It works well with respect to that so far.

New to the RV world , did not want to try a cheaper brand of oil for my generator ,so I paid the price.

Pricey but went with OEM recommendations anyway. These little genders are temperamental,

I purchased 2 quarts of Onan oil for the Onan gasoline generator installed in my Winnebago RV. The oil was specified in the owners manual as the oil to use. I did some checking at the local NAPA store to see if this specific weight oil was available from another source and one was, however the different brand indicated it was for a diesel powered generator. I was unwilling to risk a possible engine lubrication problem down the road so I went with the Onan oil from this online vendor. I was very pleased with the order processing and quick delivery. Cost was reasonable and certainly cheaper than going to the Onan service center. I would order from this vendor again. Thank you.
