Great and convenient for my guys.
Amazing product.Safe to use, Strong enough to bend and to cut as the manufacturer and amazon states. And you don't have to pick it up, because the box has wheels.I am definitely thinking buying more in the future.

You know you need it
Yes, it's not cheap, but wow it makes working with rebar so much easier than the manual benders. I love how portable it is (much smaller than most electric benders). I've been using it for about 9 months now. It works very well bending pairs of #3 bars, and #4 bars. Cuts #3 and #4 grade 60 bars like butter too. I've not used it for #5.I wish the adapter for smaller radius bends were still available, because the radius is a little large for #3 ties/hairpins.

IF YOU’RE LOOKING AT THIS- YOU NEED IT!!
All I can say is I regret not having one of these many years ago. Though it seems like another expensive handheld tool/drill/saw etc.- it isn’t. This tool impressed us so much we ordered another one. We were able to bend stirrups, square ties fully enclosed cages, and you can measure your bend lengths easily and precisely. It blows me away how great this tool is. Hitachi/Metabo tools have always impressed me but I’m speechless how great this is. It’s pretty heavy so don’t think that it’s going to break after a few bends. I could see this machine in daily use lasting years. It’s heavily geared with low gear ratio. Also cuts like butter. We stand it up on end and slip the bars through.Great tool for small jobs, pre-fab & bending on site. Forget about any kind of hand bender once you have this machine in hand you’ll know exactly what I mean… you won’t regret it.

Bends bar like butter. And it’s fast
The media could not be loaded. How did I ever get along without it?

Not bad
This tool has been good but not great. For starters it doesn’t get much use at all and we had a battery just not take a charge the other day “maybe used this tool 20 times total in 2 years…The other issue is that when you cut rebar that needs to go into drilled concrete it leaves a nasty oval shaped cut since it actually snaps the rebar vs cutting. The pressure deforms the steel where it snaps so if you’re trying to hammer it into a concrete hole it’s a little harder than normal.More irritated about the battery since we only have Dewalt cordless and can’t interchange if needed. Stuck with 1 good battery but who knows how long that will last now…

It will break, be ready
When it works it will burn through a bundle of bar in no time, if you routinely cut/bend #5 (something Metabo claims it can do) it will start ratcheting and fail to cut or bend just around end of warranty. Smaller bar seems ok.I own two of them. The first one failed to cut a #5 and went in for repairs for 3 months, it still can't cut or bend a #5 after being repaired and retoothed. The second one the controller failed and started over bending to the point of ratcheting/snapping noises, it has been in the shop for six months now.I miss the days of the rugged old Hitachi tools, Metabo is garbage.
