This knife holder is just what I wanted! It is clean and modern and takes up much less counter space than the knife block it replaced! It holds all the knives from the old knife block - much more than I thought it would hold. It is easy to use and looks great, and I can see that it is clean inside and out. Wish I had found this years ago!

I wanted some thing that didn’t take up much counter room, but held a lot of eyes. This is it. And it looks attractive snug up against my fridge and right next to where I use it daily!

This block looks nice and is quite sturdy. Unfortunately however, it arrived with a very large, deep, and noticeable scratch on the side. I tried to seek a replacement but there were no others available, so my only options were to get a refund or keep the scratched item. I chose to keep the scratched one because, even with the unsightly scratch, it’s still nice. Plus, I can “hide” the scratch by turning the block a certain way.

We own a rather expensive, eclectic assortment of kitchen knives, many of which are difficult to keep in a typical knife block with predetermined slot sizes. Thus, we needed the freedom to customize the configuration of our knife storage. Plus, available counter space is at a premium, so the knife block had to be sleek and unobtrusive, yet sturdy. This elegant black oak knife stand fits the bill perfectly. The magnets are strong -- all our knives are firmly held in place on both sides of the block. The wood is slim and attractive in a minimalist way. I also appreciate the added protection from the clear acrylic shields. Very happy with this purchase.

We recently invested in several high quality knives, after taking and advanced knife skills class. Loved the knives; tired of using knife sheaths. Shopped around and finally found this product. We love it for its design, its footprint on the counter (minimal space needed), and of course, it’s functionality as a knife holder. Acacia is a soft wood, so knives don’t scratch with repeated removal and replacement. And, the knife edges are 100% protected, so you can’t accidentally cut yourself if your hand brushes against the holder. 5 stars, definitely!

I know it seems expensive to some, but I have wanted a knife set forever and just kepy buying cheap ones. Finally my husband got me actual chef knives and what better way to display them than this gorgeous knife block. Bonus, it comes apart to clean!

I rarely write reviews but this thing is really an unusable piece of junk. The pictures and advertisements make it look like it’s some kind of piece made in a foundry or something. It’s a flimsy, cheap, tiny, weak piece of junk. You could EASILY get something better at WalMart or the dollar store. I was thinking if I knew someone like heading off to college I could give it to or something as a little starter thing but it isn’t even good enough for that. Doesn’t even fit knives over 8 inches and it’s not magnetic enough at all.
