This tool works amazing. I wish I remembered to get a before picture. She had really bad plaque build up on her k9 teeth and some on her other teeth and this tool had no problem removing it. This will only work if your dog trust you enough to allow you to stick your fingers in their mouth and touch their teeth etc. If you have a hard time brushing your pups teeth this is not the tool for you.

This was our last resort after ordering all the other teeth cleaning tools for our dog. He has tenacious tartar that covers his entire tooth and this was the only thing that worked to take it off. It is our “life saver” and am so happy we bought it. The bottom part stabilizes it under the tooth and the top part grips down and pops the tartar right off!

This little tool easily cracked off calculus build-up on my 16.5 year old Golden Retriever who has very old, hard to clean teeth. The problem is what's left under the calculus upon removing it. If your dog isn't too old for anesthesia you should still take them to the vet for a professional cleaning to be safe vs doing this on your own. At my dog's age age I don't really have that option so this was the temporary answer. He doesn't chew on bones or toys anymore so the tarter build up is rapid and significant even when using Oravet gel. I disinfected before and after the removal of the calculus when using this tool which is very important. This tool does exactly what it says and arrived quickly. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it didn't come with any directions. It can be tricky until you get the hang of it and could possibly do more damage than the calculus itself.

Feels like very high quality. Used very carefully on my dog and perfectly crumbled the icky tarter off her back teeth. I can see how someone could easily hurt their pet if not responsible. My old girl can’t handle anesthesia so vet can’t clean her teeth. But she is a good girl and compliant with praise and worked in her teeth same way I do her nails. I also pushed on teeth with my finger to confirm nothing loose and nothing painful.

I wasn’t able to keep them open long enough to get them in my dog’s mouth to remove his tartare. I’ll have to get someone to help hold on to my dog so I can keep them from slipping out of my hands. I’m sure this is a good product ones I am able to maneuver them.

This product saves so much money than paying three hundred dollars for dog’s teeth cleaning. Snapped the plaque right off my Australian Shepherd’s teeth with no pain.
