Good product fast and reliable.

Inexpensive to purchase but a good value since you are able to get the entire assembly instead of piecing components together to make an exterior mirror.These are clear mirror glass without a tint and the motor works very smoothly and surprisingly quiet.I was able to easily install the right side mirror in approximately 30 minutes.I think leaving the housing black and installing the other side, gives the 2000 red Jetta a great look.I can not comment on the heating element until the snow hits.

It took about 20 min to replace my passenger mirror assembly. No hassles. Perfect !

These mirrors work just fine and the black looks kinda nice against my Tornado Red 2003 Jetta wagon. Their build quality is not up to the OEM German models, but it's not too bad. At this point, I just want to keep my beater running well, and, since it's over 17 years old, I need to be realistic about it looking original. I replaced both mirrors so they'd match and both operate well in all adjustment directions. One thing I've noticed is whistling caused by wind over the bottom screw holes at speeds above 40 or so. I'm going to try and fit plugs of some sort in the holes to remedy this. Installation is pretty simple, though taking the door panels off is never a favorite activity. I think I could've done them both in less than a half hour if I hadn't forgotten to put a screw in that required repeat disassembly/assembly on one door. Doh!

Perfect and easy fit, plugged in and works great. If only it came in OEM colors to match car paint. I had read other feedback about out-of-box failures before ordering, and either I was just one of the lucky ones, or the quality issue had been corrected. I am completely satisfied. It has been installed for about 4 months in Oregon weather and it is working perfectly.Installation is not hard, but watch one or two of the youtube videos first if you have never done it. That will let you see where those frustrating to find fasteners are :-)

Bought left and right at different times. Only complaint is the heating element is weak compared to OEM.

The original mirror bracket on my 20 year old Golf had corroded away so it was time for a replacement. This mirror fits like OEM and works the same. Not sure if it is as sturdy materials wise but was priced much better than my local parts store and as long as I don't abuse it too much should work for the remaining life of the car.

It works as described but mirror vibrates when driving. You get what you pay for! Cheap junk! Fit & finish is just o.k (I'm glad i didn't waste the money on painting it). Mounting and Install was simple. This was purchased for my daily commuter beater after a deer took out the last one!, so if your looking for a replacement for something you care about spend $150 and get a quality mirror from VW.The description says it doesn't fit the passenger side but it does and should for any MK4 Golf or Jetta..
