Excellent headphones for about $20
I've had these for a few weeks now, so I feel I could post my opinion on these MQbix headphones. I have quiet a few headphones to compare these to, some costing 10x as much. I break my headphones in for about 150 hours before testing, wheather that has any effect or not.Sound: Overall, I would say the sound signature of these is similar to Audio-Technica ATH-M50's, meaning brighter/colder in v shape with slight emphasis on low side, followed closely by highs & then mids a bit behind. Sound definition through these is out there with the best, like M50's. Every note & sound is easily distinguished. They also have fairly wide soundstage for closed back headphones. Bass seems to have some vibrating effect on the headphone cups, which gives you a sense of feel of lows, not just hear them, extending dynamic range of these headphones.Comfort: Comfort is not bad considering $18 price, but it is still only a $18 headphones. They are considered a on/over-ear design, with the back of your ears fitting inside the ear pads, which for me creates some contact points, which in turn after about an hour hurts my ears. I have medium size ears that sit more flush to my head than average persons. Ear pad padding has medium stiffness. Pads are nice looking pleather. Your fit will differ, for better or worse.Quality: Once again great for $18 headphones, but will not match or even come close to something like Vmoda crossfade LP's or M50's, because of the price difference. The whole headphone feels sturdy enough to take fall or two from a desk & not break, but wouldn't fair too well if it was sat on, due to mostly plastic construction. Fold up hinges don't have much resistance, so if you picked them up sideways with one cup facing down, that cup would fold by itself. Headphones have nice rubberized plastic finish available in nice array of color choices.Overall I'm very satisfied with the purchase, given the price & having realistic expectations,

Light weight with great sound: Ordered my second pair - UPDATED:
UPDATE: After over 2 1/2 years my second pair of these headphones is finally failing me. They were a sure bet for the money. I ordered a different brand this time around since my color preference is no longer available. I mainly used these headphones with my laptop in the living room and for travel - they are lightweight and the bright color options made it easy to spot them in a jumbled, crowded travel bag. They offer great sound on the user's end and when I listened to movies, music, etc on high volume people nearby were never disturbed.I ordered my first pair over two years ago and just purchased my second pair this month. The first pair was still a favorite of mine but unfortunately I lost them. I always made sure that I took them with me when traveling and I either left them on an airplane or in a hotel. They just didn't make it home with me. I've been using the second pair for a week and the sound quality and comfort are as good as the what the first pair offered. Hopefully I'll get 2+ years out of this set too if I don't lose them first.I was looking for a simple headphone that I could mainly use for watching streaming tv/movies while in bed. Comfort and sound were equally important for this choice. This headphone is really comfy. The foam around the ears is rather soft but they hold the headphone in place despite the fact that the "head band" part (I don't know what to call that part) doesn't lay snug over the top of my head. There just isn't any unduly awkward, hard or uncomfy parts pressing onto my head. The sound is great for me, too. Low tones are hard for me to pick out in even a mildly noisy environment. The cushioning around the ears blocks out a lot of the noises that interfere so that I can actually hear what is being said. I wish I had a better understanding of what exactly makes a set of earphones good. I just know that I am hearing clearly and comfortably with this product. There are only two small negatives for this product from me. 1) Where is the mic that is mentioned in the description? 2) Where is the documentation/usage instructions that generally come with this sort of product? There was no instructions included with the headphones. This product lacked all documentation when it arrived.

Awesome sound BUT one annoying problem
I was pretty excited about these headphones and by now they are more than a year in use, they still work fine, the sound is really awesome, BUT there is one pretty annoying problem I have with them. When I am listening to something on my laptop, and not on the iTunes, from time to time (sometimes every 10 seconds!) the iTunes opens by itself and starts playing. So e.g. I am watching a video on Youtube and then it is suddenly overplayed by the music from iTunes, I turn the iTunes off, continue watching the video and here it comes again. This never-ever happens with any other headphones or without them, so I tend to use something else instead because it can get really really annoying.I must say that I have a MacBook, and maybe people with different brands do not have this problem.
