Almost Couldn't Ask for More
Bought both the wrist brace and the thumb splint and have been using both over the past two days to help relieve some wrist pain. Thumb splint to bed, wrist braces while working.Materials are fantastic feeling and seem durable enough for now and, for the moment, feel like they should last quite some time. Velcro stays in place while the material provides just enough stretch to provide a comfortable compression, while being stiff enough to support the wrist.Reading the above, you may wonder why the "almost" in the headline: If I had one complaint about the two Dr. Arthritis wrist braces, it is that they aren't the easiest things to get on. Once they're secured, they feel secure, but it does take a bit of finagling to wrap the brace around the wrist, while the thumb splint takes a little bending to get it situated. It's certainly not impossible, though, and it just takes a little practice, so I won't dock any stars for it.That being said, for their price, they're great. I would highly recommend them!

Very helpful!
This is a comfortable glove that supports my thumb so I can lift weights. I am almost 74 and I need to keep my strength up so I am lifting 5, 8 and 10 pound weights regularly. It used to be painful, now with the glove I am able to do it pain free.

It did the job under extreme conditions
I tore the ligament in my thumb and to keep it immobile for 2 weeks at least and bought this Velcro thumb splint. We are doing Hurricane Michael cleanup (7 months now) and I spend 8 hours a day + on a tractor which is not ideal for healing. It made it 2 weeks and did a good job of keeping my thumb stable enough to heal. The Velcro gave out at about the 2 week mark but my thumb wasn't completely healed so I bought a less intrusive thumb splint for the rest of the healing. I exercise my thumb at night and wear the brace when I am not exercising it. The brace was comfortable and did the job. The Velcro is my only complaint. I am actually quite shocked that it held up 2 weeks given all the conditions it was in. I would buy it again.

Relief
This really does help with the pain in my thumb. Keeping it immobilized at night lets me sleep better.

NIce to have when you need it
I used my Thumb Support for Men & Women for as long as I needed it. I managed to mangle my right hand trying to get a hateful lawn mower belt off the spindle. Hearty hand shakes at Sunday church finished the job. My thumb section was painful and mushy. All I knew was that I needed to stabilize it and be a little less friendly about shaking hands for awhile. Using my Thumb Support for Men & Women, those thumb muscles or ligaments...whatever, finally settled down after a month or so and I became good as new. Couldn't have done it without my hand brace. Good to use. Good to have in the home toolkit. GREAT value. You don't need it until you need it but when you need it you need it real bad and right then. Trust me on that.

Not for me.
I have long fingers and there was no way for this to support my thumb. The metal part barely extended to the thumb. It wasn't comfortable and did not provide me any stability. Maybe if you have smaller hands. Braces with size options and flexible support, not a rigid piece of metal, are better for thumb joint recovery!

Great fit and works well
Got this brace for a little extra help while working and also for gaming. Helps relieve pain and stress on my thumb without hindrance and it’s very comfortable. Happy with my purchase.

Sturdy and easy to adjust and ur on. I use this brace to sleep in so I don’t exacerbate my arthritic thumb with my weird t-Rex hands when I sleep.
