I have purchased many humidifiers in the past decade. Most models are expensive and difficult to clean and several have leaked and damaged furniture. This unit is the most functional humidifier I have ever purchased. Unlike most that have a removable tank, this unit is one piece with a wide open center. It is easy to fill and simple to clean.I put in a Gallon of distilled water, close up the top, point the nozzle in the right direction and turn the knob to begin the humidity magic!The unit is lightweight and base of white plastic. There is a window to view the water level. The light at the knob turns red when the unit needs to be refilled. Don’t expect to set humidity level. There is no useless nightlight. This is the only humidifier that I have owned that never has pink slime when I clean it.Simple is truly better.

Loved this humidifier while it worked. Easy fill and clean. However it's obviously quite expensive based on it's 13 month life. Plugged it in one day, light flashed, then quit. (tried multiple plugs w/in the house).

Works great! Trusted the reviews and it did not disappoint.
