I purchased this for my son who has locs. He is in the weird stage of having hair that is in his face but not entirely long enough for a complete pony tail. He has very thick hair. I’ve trusted the goody brand to make quality hair products for awhile. These do not stretch and break easily. His is able to hoop in the band. It is not overly noticeable. Although it says womens. I would consider this as a unisex product given the width, overall basic nature and color. I have not tested these on straight hair to determine if there is breakage or hair loss when wearing. It is the same thickness as the regular hair bands used for pony tails.

I’m recovering from shoulder surgery at the use of one hand and I can’t do my hair. It’s sweating hot out. This is a nice solution to pull everything off my face. They are comfy. They don’t squeeze my head and they stay in place.

Out of the four headbands I tried this worked the best. It was not too small for my head. It did not squish my curls down and it stayed in place the best (not perfectly, but better than others I've tried). It did not make my head hurt at the end of the day. It's cheap and I imagine it won't last too long, but I found it to be worth the money.

I didn't know if I'd like these but have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. They do a great job of holding my hair out of my face. The best part is that I don't feel as much of a headache at the end of the day which is my complaint about most headbands. I like that I can just wear one and it works fine. I did have one snap when I tried to stretch it, but for the price, I really can't complain. I have already purchased more so that I don't run out.
