LOVE! Got 3 x 9.99 each! My long (middle of back) fine hair (lots of it) has tons of bounce/fullness with waves, not curly!!
UPDATE 11/07/2016Still LOOOOOOVE these and highly recommended. I actually just bought another one, warehouse deals for under $10!!! It takes 3 for my hair, I have fine hair but a lot of it and it is long, almost to the middle of my back. I do not know why people complain about the holders, if it starts to slip just put the holder on the side of the rod rather than on top in middle like they should be, or go to your local drug store and get a set of the same kind but smaller, and they are not that expensive, like $5 - $6 for 5, they hold even better and mine are purple in colour. I had some holders from another hot roller set with regular sized curlers that I use.If you use styling tools most of the time, like me, make sure to get a protector for your hair that is not greasy, oily or heavy. CVS has a leave in heat protector that is a cream but it does not weigh down the hair, and you only need a little from the ears down on your hair. The fullness is incredible!!! TONS of LIFT at the ROOT!!! I also use the following and for best results ( I was a hair technician for 15 years then put my way through college):1. STOP buying expensive shampoo, you do not need it, I just use a nice clean shampoo WITHOUT oils or harsh detergents, YOU DO NOT NEED a special shampoo no matter what the hair as the suds take those ingredients away and that is what you want, clean hair otherwise it will be flat. Just get one that is not harsh, I use Garneir or other drugstore brands that are for normal hair and are not with harsh detergents. If you wash with coated shampoos, you will not get fullness as your hair is weighed down and not really clean.~~~~~~~~~~~~Also, DO NOT GET the shampoo and conditioner in one or ones that you use in the reverse order, this is a gimmick. A $5 - $7 price range is more than enough for a great shampoo.2. DO INVEST in good conditioners and styling aids. SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!! I use an argan oil based conditioner as I really like the shine, olive oil is also great.~~~~~~~~~~~In fact once a month put extra virgin olive oil in your wet hair, cover with cap for at least an hour then wash out. You will have a residue so I do this at night after dinner when I am not going somewhere and the next day when you take a shower wash again and condition and style as usual.I use Peter Copolla Argan Oil Condition, you can get a huge bottle for about $15 at CVS when they have it. I am also a die hard fan of Redken, but they are priceyDO NOT condition scalp, your hair is new there and putting conditioner there will just weight down your hair an it will lie flat on the scalp, condition from about the ears down and rinse really well after about 5 minutes. With short hair, use all over but just a little bit.3. STYLING AIDS!! Spend money wisely, but buy what works with YOUR and stick with it. What works for me is Bumble and Bumble "Styling Lotion", which is really pricey, but I love it as you do not feel anything in the hair, and it looks like water. I like my hair touchable and silky but full, not a helmet head so I also do not use hairspray unless I am fixing my hair in a updo for a special evening occasions or in a french twist. Even then I use a very light spray. After you towel dry add the Bumble and Bumble or other styling lotion, but you can use anything you like. I do not like mousse etc.. as again it makes the hair crispy and flat and feel like cheap doll hair. Blow dry just by turning your head upside down and comb through with finger for added fullness, or air dry.4. HEAT CURLERS. USE A ROOT SPRAY ONLY IN ROOTS, I use whatever fits my budget and not a mousse but you can use what works for you. There is a different between a root lifter and mousse, there are some root lifers that are like a foam, but make sure the nozzle is small and precisely lays the lifter only at the root as the foams are sticky. Spray only the roots for more control and volume. Take a section of hair, use the root lift then place heated curler in hair section, repeat until done and wait 20 minutes (longer if you want). Take curlers out and either comb with fingers or a pick. You can also use a brush if you want for just a full look with no wave.5. BUY "Big Sexy Hair Get Layered". This is KEY!! I love this stuff, you spray on a layer of hair a when styling and you get this incredible fullness and still very touchable. I do not know what it is but I just bought 3 more bottles in case they stop making it. This is great stuff and I hope they do not stop making it as I just found it. I pay $10 a bottle of 8oz spray.Viola!! Beautiful, bouncy, full hair and it stays that way even through the next day.MUST HAVES:1. CLEAN SHAMPOO2. GOOD CONDITIONER3. BUMBLE AND BUMBLE STYLING LOTION or ANOTHER KINDBumble and Bumble Styling Lotion (8 Ounces)4. BIG SEXY HAIR GET LAYERED SPRAY, A MUST HAVE!!!!Sexy Hair Get Layered Flash Dry Thickening Hair Spray, 8 Ounce5. A GOOD ROOT LIFT that HITS JUST THE ROOTS.~~~~Currently I am using "Sally Hershberger Supreme Lift Root Spray", but I use others also as long as they are not sticky.6. HEAT STYLING PROTECTOR FOR HAIR, IF STRAIGHTENING ~ THE STRAIGHTENER WILL ALREADY HAVE THIS IN IT.If you straighten, I do also, you can still use all of the above except for the root lift.As you can tell, I am into having shiny, beautiful, bouncy, full, wavy hair that is touchable, I HATE HELMET HEAD HAIR!!! It looks ridiculous and hair is supposed to move. Otherwise it looks like a god awful wig!! I also love super shiny straight hair.My hair is fine but I have a lot of it, thank God! It is also longer than most. I also colour my hair with Redken Shades in a bright red orange wash out as I have dark, mahogany coloured hair and then right afterwards use Paul Mitchel Cellophanes in clear for extra shine. You should use the Cellophanes,, dry your hair and then go out into the syn, your hair looks like diamonds!!ISSUE with CELLOPHANES: There are two clear, one is totally clear and the one to get and the other Cellophane is a blue based clear, stay away from the blue, it will state in on the bottle. You wash your hair, put in the cellophane, cover with cap and sit under dryer for 25 minutes, then take off the cap and let cool for 5 minutes, wash as usual. Must use a dryer, you can get one on AMAZON for about $20. I do this 3 to 4 times a year.Sebastian Professional Cellophanes, Shine Clear "Pack of 2" by VidimearHINT: IT IS WEEKLY or MONTHLY CONDITIONING WITH A REALLY GOOD CONDITION THAT MAKES HAIR SHINY AND HEALTHY AND YOUR DIET.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~LOVE these, bought 2 from AMAZON WAREHOUSE at $9.99 each!! Give my hair a beautiful bounce and a really full look without all the curls. I do use all 10 and just use a really large curling iron for the little bit of hair left. I leave in my hair for 20 minutes and it lasts all day, even the next day still looks good. I also use Bumble and Bumble Styling Lotion which I love as it gives me extra control and does not feel like anything is in the hair at all. Also use Big and Sexy Volumizing Spray, which I use after words, it is a dry spray and adds extra volume without the feeling of hair spray. In addition, since I have fine hair, I use a root lifter on the top of the head with the curlers to give me that extra oomph.LOVE LOVE LOVE

Carolina Girl - Carolina Curls
Love, love, love these rollers! Being from N.C., I've been using hair rollers since I was in the 5th grade, and these jumbo curlers deliver the large bouncy curls I love. I have a lot of hair - it's midway down my back and very thick. I use these every day and 5 of them do the trick: 3 across the top of my head (1 in front, 1 in the middle, and 1 in back) and 2 for the bottom portion of my hair (part in the center at the nape of the neck and put 1 on the left and 1 on the right side).I have 2 issues w/this product, but not enough to stop using them: (1) They no longer come w/metal hair clips that hold the rollers in place. The plastic clips that are included don't hold the hair in place! However, they are very useful if you already own metal clips - put them over the roller once you've secured it w/those. (2) The plastic lid is cheaply made and cracks w/in a few uses. The rollers still heat up w/out the lid, but not as hot as they are w/the lid closed. It would be lovely if the box also contained a felt or soft bag to package the rollers in for travel, since they are "travel" rollers! Without wrapping these in something, they'll surely break in your suitcase. As a life-long roller girl at 51yrs old, I'm happy w/these and purchasing yet another set as a back-up since mine are getting old.

Perfect Rollers for Travel or Home. They Heat up Quickly and are Comfortable to Handle.
I Love my Conair Rollers. I was previously using a larger set but it was just taking up too much room when I travel. What I do now is use the 5 rollers for the top parts of my hair and then finish with my large curling wand. It really adds very little more time that way and I even got rid of my larger set. It takes up so little room in my luggage too. The rollers get the right amount of even heat, but not too hot to handle and the velvety texture keeps my hair from breaking. I definitely recommend this set.

Real morning saver for my shoulder-length hair
I have shoulder-length hair and this little tool has really simplified my mornings. I don’t wash my hair every day anymore, but spending just two minutes popping these rollers in smooths things out and gives me gentle waves—I love it. Easy, quick, and it makes my hair look put together without any fuss.

Great for travel, replace clips and add rollers!
This is compact and great for travel. I need at least 8 rollers though, so I picked up some extras for $2 each at Walmart. (If that name is removed, it’s Amazon’s Big Box store competitor…) And as I pull out a heated roller to use, I immediately replace it with one of the extras. So by the time I’m through the first 5, the new ones are almost heated, and then very shortly I can continue on with those. Then I leave them all in my hair for 20-25 minutes. It’s much easier to travel with this set and to just carry a few extra rollers than getting a bigger heater base that holds more rollers. Also, like so many others, I very much dislike these big new plastic clips they give us!! They take up too much space. So I purchased a set of the old flat metal ones and I’m happy to report this travel base does come with a slot to hold those clips. And it can accommodate the set of 8 I purchased. However, do be aware they are slightly too tall, so the lid is slightly raised. This could stress the lid and crack it if anyone puts weight on top of the lid while traveling (which I do not).Anyway, I found with the extra purchases, the overall cost still worked out to be less than buying a bigger set which would fit my needs, but then wouldn’t work for me when traveling. So I hope my solutions might help others as well.

Does not get hot enough.
Pros: compact size for travel, heats up quicklyCons: does not get hot enough to curl my thick, long hair.My comparison is my old set of Conair rollers that were 15 years old. Those suckers would get so hot I could burn my fingertips if I left them heating for 15 minutes. Curl would last for days!
