Good Purchase
I was hesitant at first because of all the reviews that mentioned the noise, but I’ve been using this for a few months and I’ve never had this issue. It does make noise, but you REALLY need to listen in order to notice. Other than that I feel that this was worth the money and I didn’t have any issues with shipping.UPDATE: I bought this in 2020 and now it's January 2023. Works great, I don't have any issues and the noise people were mentioning is a non-issue. I used to have my TV on my desk where I would work and I was just barely able to hear the fan. Now I have it on a bookshelf on the other side of the room and I completely forgot people had complained about a noise. I bought this because my original battery died and needless to say, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Admittedly, when I am off from work I keep my Xbox on all day and through most of the night for backround noise or music and this battery has done it's job, no issue.

Good valued replacement but...
After troubleshooting a few issues with my original Xbox One, I concluded the power pack was at fault. The Ponkor replacement came faster than expected. I've only had it for 3 days. My pros and cons/warnings are below.Pros: It was a quick plug and play replacement.Several reviews have mentioned its "loud" and I do not doubt it is louder than the original power pack. Some have referenced it gets louder the longer you use it. So far its not bothersome, especially for price.Value is good. At the time I bought it, Ponkor is 50% less than Microsoft's power pack. Microsoft isn't manufacturing power packs for the original Xbox One any more so these are all leftovers if you can find them.Cons: The "Standby" light states its orange but looks closer to red which is more of a aesthetic issue in my opinion. I figure red is bad but it takes getting used to. You may need to reset the settings in your Xbox to ensure startup preferences are corrected. This is not bad, however, I had to switch from Standby mode in Settings to Energy Saver mode to force the power pack to actually shutdown. The pack takes a little longer to turn the system on and off.WARNING: "Ghost issues": On three different occasions when turning the system off, the pack for some reason turns the system back on by itself. No joke... after 5+ minutes of being off, the system turned back on. Not sure if the pack turns back on because the Xbox is trying to update and the pack is designed to "start up" when it senses this but so far I haven't figured out why it does this by itself. This is the most concerning part right now. You don't want your Xbox turning itself on randomly and overheating, wasting energy, etc. I had to unplug the pack from the Xbox to turn it completely off. Annoying but right now at least I get to use my system. The "on light" is Green, not white, like the original power pack.Eventually if this pack dies or goes through electric fits, then I will invest in a new Xbox One system. In my opinion, it is worth a try if you have determined your power pack is the issue for getting the Xbox One to boot up.

Great product, lasted me 2020-2024, 4 years!
I am writing this as this morning I woke up and noticed that my ponker power supply (this product) that I bought in 2020 (4 years ago) after 3 power surges unfortunately it overheated the unit and caused the thermal paste to go everywhere in the unit (none of the paste leaked out, picture attached of internals). Overall I bought this back in 2020 hoping it would last a while seeing as most reviews said it worked but the fan was loud. I purchased it and got a model that was very quiet! I could barely hear the fan. Now as it is 2024 I guess it ran it's course and fought till the end. I think for the price, it lasted 4 years of consistent gaming for my xbox. It's a great product. Such a good product that I just bought a replacement one since the old one is dead. I hope to get a constant product and will attempt to update on how quality is after 4 years

I recommend this item.
The media could not be loaded. My Xbox One power supply crapped out on me. I tried resetting it using the methods that Microsoft and Xbox recommended and they did not work. After unplugging the power supply for the recommended amount of time and plugging it back into the wall outlet I would get a steady orange light. Then when I would plug it back into the console, the light would go out with a soft click. Today I bought this power supply after great consideration and as of now, my Xbox is on and updating. The power brick is half the weight of the original one that comes with the console. I can hear the fan but it is not as loud as the original power supply. I would recommend this item versus going to GameStop and buying a refurbished one for $50.Update: After using this for a few days I can say with certainty I'm very content with this item. The fan isn't roaring over the TV and my Xbox is up and running smoothly. Thank you for offering this item to us gamers for a decent price and a quick fix.
