As a student of Jazz, I am very familiar with the Charlie Parker Omnibook and what a staple it is to any jazz education. It's also a good idea to have the original recordings of the solo you're working on available in order to get all the nuances. This CD has over 20 songs with solos transcribed in the book. That's about a third of the book right there. Buy Now's the Time and Swedish Schnapps and you get another 15 or 20. That's most of the omnibook and quite an education in jazz improvisation on three CDs and one book.
