Safest No smell Solvent Available
I am a professional oil painter who uses historic formulas. I have been searching for a solvent that will work with rare recipes for making historic varnishes and paints, in addition to being safe. Gamsol is the solvent. Good dryer. NO FUMES. Not even a bit of fumes. I have personally tested numerous mineral spirits for fumes and solvency. This is the best. Do yourself a HUGE safety favor and buy Gamsol.

Great product
The gamsol is a great solvent. I use this for cleaning my oil brushes in a Windsor and Newton Siicoil jar and it works great. I also use this as a thinner in a small bottle where I can put a drop out on my palette. The price is good and delivery is quick

Gamblin Gamsol Oil Color
Gamblin Gamsol is my top choice when it comes to odorless mineral spirits for oil painting. This 16.9 fl oz bottle provides a clean and safe way to thin oil paints and clean brushes without the harsh fumes of traditional solvents. It’s gentle on brushes and doesn’t compromise the quality of your paint layers, making it ideal for both beginners and professionals.

Wonderful for blending colored pencils!
This is an excellent solvent for colored pencils! Take a paintbrush, wet the paintbrush either by dipping it in gamsol or dipping a bit of paper towel in the gamsol and wetting the brush with it, then dab the brush on the paper towel to absorb any excess (you don't need a ton of solvent, less can be more). Then gently and carefully paint the areas you would like to blend. Make sure the area you'd like to blend has plenty of pigment and layers on it already, and you'll be able to fill in the white spots really nicely. If it doesn't have enough pigment, the solvent will just push the colors around and make it look light/patchy but if you have enough, it will be fine and blend things beautifully. Also be careful and blend starting from light to dark and wipe the paintbrush off every so often to avoid your drawing getting muddy from dark colors blending into lighter areas. The attached picture shows a drawing of hair before using gamsol on the left and after using it on the right (the outer parts that still have white spots are just areas where I hadn't used it yet)

Oil painting
I received it in perfect shape, on time, but haven't had a chance to use it yet. I've oil painted for 50 years, when time allowed and plan to do much more now that I'm completely retired. I watch many oil painters on You Tube, and most of them recommend Gamsol because of it's odorless and user friendly quality.

Amazing product
My wife is an amazing artist (setting aside my bias) but had never used oils before. We started watching the Bob Ross streaming channel and I slowly but surely talked her into giving it a try as an outlet for her creativity. After trying a host of products she was ready to throw away her brushes and send me to the couch. I had ordered the gamsol product based on a YouTube video and wow! She loves it and it has used it to work the paint so that it does what she wants and it has saved me from the couch. An amazing product with excellent performance, appearance and thickness. It should be considered as requisite as paint, brushes and a canvas when it comes to oil painting.
