Outstanding movie!
The first thing I did when I brought home my 4k TV was purchase this movie. It has excellent education, narration and the video is breath taking! Anyone who has a 4k TV and enjoys nature will love either of the Planet Earth movies. Can't wait for the next one.

Anyone else having issues?
Content is 5-star. I amended review after Amazon refund. Apparently I just got a a happenstance bum download. I will leave this here as a warning to anyone else who encounters problems that sometime, “glitch happens” and don’t kill yourself altering your settings. OLD REVIEW: I bought a streaming version of Planet Earth II [Ultra HD] 2017 and am having trouble running it on my Amazon Fire TV (3rd Generation) which is plugged directly into an HDMI port on my LG OLED65B6P (2016 Model). It kicks into HDR mode and then the image is over-bright -- as if the black layer was missing entirely. I bought several other Ultra HD streaming movies through Amazon the same way (Lawrence of Arabia, Close Encounters, etc.) and am not having this issue. Is there a way to "re-load/re-boot" it somehow?

Stunning Video and Animals!
Purchased the digital version of this series. It is outstanding. The video these dedicated people were able to get is amazing and the clarity of the picture makes it feel like you are seeing these animals practically in a zoo setting. Highly recommend for not just showing off your new 4K HDR tv but for watching the greatness that is these animals in there natural habitat.

Awesome
BBC once again great a GREAT job with planet Earth 2. The 4k is stunning on my 4k TV and MacBook. Sir David Attenborough does an amazing job narrating. I watch at night before bed. I am extremely glad I bought a digital version and plan on buying a DVD copy also.

Jaw dropping
This is the follow up to the groundbreaking "Planet Earth" which was released in 2007. Planet Earth raised the bar for nature videos and Planet Earth II goes well beyond it.It took 117 trips to 40 countries over a period of years to put this together and every bit of the effort shows on the screen. Each scene is amazing and the photography is exquisite.

Absolutely Stunning!
Extraordinary video footage on my new 65" UHD QLED TV. BBC has set the standard for nature videos, and the UHD version is worth every penny if you have a newer tv. I have always enjoyed nature videos but I've never seen anything with the quality that this video has.

Like the original Planet Earth, the images are just stunning in HD.
I am constantly amazed by the natural world as seen and discovered by these BBC photographers. Some motion sequences will take your breath away, and when you do recover, you can only say - WOW!

Another winner from Attenborough and the BBC team. There ...
Another winner from Attenborough and the BBC team. There were some legacy footage clips from previous BBC documentaries (shot in 1080p) in a few brief places, but overall still excellently shot (new) footage, editing and narration. Some of the sound effects were artificial or enhanced a little, but I didn't find that to be any significant problem or distraction. Some purists might object to some of it though I suppose.
