do these work on doors? or can you only see them if they are on a window & a light is on?

I used mine on two glass doors in the backyard, but I still had to turn the light on in the backyard.

We have dark tinted windows. Will trick o treaters be able to see it if we taped it on the outside of the windows?

I don’t think so! The light really makes it appear and when the light is off you can’t see it in the dark

My window meadures 24" wide..will this ve ok and not cut part of the letters?

Measures 30"W x 60"H. So yes it would cut off your letters!

Do these stick to the outside of the window or the inside?

They really don't cling. We have ours hung off of the window header on the inside.
