WARN 37170 Fixed Winch Mount for Jeep Wrangler (1997-2006)

This winch plate is solid and good quality. I have no complaints about it, but you can get one just as good, and better looking for less than a $100 elsewhere. Like AtoZ Fabrication makes a nice one for like $80 that is just as good quality.

Purchased this with a warn winch. Took a couple of hours to install the plate and the winch to my TJ. FYI I used it with the warn evo vr8. Install the winch to the bracket, install the bracket to the jeep. Perfect! Sturdy, works great, looks great. Major positive it can be used with the stock factory bumper. Solid. Absolutely would recommend to anyone.

Holes for attaching to bumper aligned perfectly, nice and sturdy. The rollers for the cable winch fit perfectly to the front slot. I believe they would sell more units if it cost a bit less. It’s tempting to buy a product that is half its cost.

Went to warn website and picked out what i thought i would need. Warn has a good name and it disnt disappoint. Amazon price was best i could find. I installed this myself and it was very easy to put on. I was worried it would not have a mount plate so i bought one. I bought a mount plate as well And it made installing easy. My first task was to pull a rock out of the woods. It was a struggle but not for the winch, as it pulled the jeep to the rock. Its a great product and i would recomend it.

This winch mount is way too heavy; metal is just too thick for the application. Think about it, a system is as weak as its weakest link. The weakest link here is the frame. Just make the mount with the same structure integrity as the frame, and saved weight.

Five times thicker than the metal in the original bumper, I connected the Winch mount to my new Warn Rock Crawler bumper and then to the Jeep frame with no problems. All the holes lined up and finishing up was a snap. Thanks, Warn.

Exactly what I was looking for and at a decent price. Found something similar to this one but at a higher price. Quality product at a fair price and easy to install ( no drilling and came with everything needed to mount).

Fit perfectly in the original bolt locations. I installed a Warn winch so it fit exactly as planned.
