There are 2 versions of this bag. Is this the one that turns into a waist pack? The picture shows that it is not.

No it is not. I don't have this specific bag but I have one that u can use as a waist pack and that one has a zipper on either side all the way in the back vertically. I actually cut off the strap and use it as an extra pocket to hide cash since it's all the way on the back of the bag
