I am very worried about that having wire bristles in my family's food. Have always been concerned about the loose wire bristles --- just the fact that there will be no more left behind bristles from the brush is a big plus. This is a well made, solid heavy duty grill brush. Easy to use, that cleans our grills which will eliminate that greasy build-up that you find with typical brush heads. The scraper is perfectly shaped, and quite handy that can get all the burnt on food off your grill. Only have been using it for almost two weeks (5 times) of grill use, so I am not sure how durable it is.

This grill brush is way over engineered, for an item that seems to do such a mundane job... the coils didn't get between the grates well enough for my liking, unless it was held at about a 30-45 degree angle, and even then, didn't do that great of a job.... It is very heavy, and durable feeling, and feels like the only things to survive a nuclear blast would be cockroaches and this thing... that said, it didn't clean the grill, as to my preference... I threw it away and got a bristle brush, that works better

What is more important to you, a faster grill clean using a brush with many metal bristles (except for the occasional loose bristle that visits your sirloin steak on it's way to your throat and/or stomach, or instead using a brush with no bristles but will require maybe an extra 30 seconds to clean your grill? There is nothing further to discuss.

I've had this thing for about 6 months now and used it quite often. It's a good way to clean the grill versus using other cleaning methods. My only issue is that a few of the loops broke early on. Not the overall large coil, just the individual loops of wire. It doesn't take away from the device's usefulness. There haven't been any other breaks since so might have been a fluke. I would like to see a version of this with smaller loops so it can reach between the grills better.

Ineffective on my grill. With this design, it takes twice as long to clean my grill as it did with my old plain brush. Should have just bought another wire bristle brush.

Half the price that it would cost in a store. It's large and in charge!
