Perfect for a metal gazebo
Backstory: I just put up a metal Allen+Roth gazebo and my wife had some solar string lights that we wanted to put up. I didn’t want to drill holes in it and have always had bad experiences with adhesive solutions to hold pc wires under my desk so I didn’t want to have that happen on a bigger scale. Magnets seemed like the perfect solution and the black color on these along with rated strength sounded perfect.Performance -These things are strong, you wouldn’t think that string lights would be too heavy but these had some pretty thick cables and I needed something that could hold up the bulbs without making me worry. So far these are doing the job exceedingly well.Stability -Due to the nature of magnets (not so much the products fault) they will slide around if mounted horizontally much easier than if mounted vertically. I found this out the hard way as it slid on me a few times. I readjusted them to hand more vertically and they have been solid since. They still well enough to aluminum that I’d have to give a decent pull for them to come off.Hooks -The hooks are blunt and while they looked smaller than I anticipated, they ended up being a perfect size for my needs. I think the worst part of the process was getting them all twisted in because I got 40 of them (10 for each side of the gazebo to be extra sure) but I didn’t have any issues with the threading as others have mentioned. I did find it difficult in some cases to twist it as the coating can make it a bit slippery. Using gloves or your shirt for additional grip is enough to fix that.Ease of removal -With a little over natural degree of force you should be able to pull them off of an aluminum surface. It sticks hard but it should be strong enough to be impossible by any means. Sliding it sideways might make it easier too.Overall -I’ve only had it for one day but I’m confident that under normal conditions I won’t need to bother checking up on them. If I don’t update with a complaint later after a storm or something more severe then assume that everything went fine. I tend to leave enough reviews that I’d remember to come back if there’s a problem. So far I highly recommend these and commend this company for making a great product at a reasonable price, that’s pretty rare these days.

Great!
These magnetic hooks are small but mighty. Each one holds up to 30 pounds vertically on a smooth, iron surface, making them perfect for cruise cabins, classrooms, kitchens, or even the side of a grill. I used them on a recent cruise to hang hats, bags, and towels on the cabin walls—no damage, no fuss. The neodymium magnets are impressively strong, and the Ni-Cu-Ni triple coating keeps them rust-free and looking sharp. They’re compact (just 0.63" wide and 1.38" tall), easy to pack, and super versatile. I’ve also used them on my fridge and in the garage to organize tools. Just remember: for horizontal use, the holding strength drops by about two-thirds, so hang heavier items vertically when possible. For the price and performance, this 20-pack is a smart buy for anyone who loves tidy, damage-free organization.

Cruise Essential – Strong and Super Handy!
These 30 lb magnetic hooks were a game-changer on our cruise! They held securely to the metal cabin walls and gave us much-needed extra hanging space for hats, bags, lanyards, and towels. The magnets are strong and didn’t slide or fall off, even when holding heavier items. They’re compact, easy to pack, and super useful for keeping the room organized. If you're cruising, these are a must-have for making the most of the limited cabin space!

Small, but Mighty Magnetic Hooks
These magnetic hooks were purchased to use in my cruise ship cabin to hang my costume jewelry, outerwear and place paperwork on the metal walls (like shore excursions, etc). They were much smaller than I expected (I noticed the 30 lbs weight they could hold instead of the actual size of the hook). Even though they were small, they still served their purpose for the most part and were very strong. However, I would have liked a larger hook with a stronger weight-holding capacity (75 lbs).

VERY STRONG 💪
Excellent magnets. I was quite impressed with the strength and how well it held. The hooks come separate so you can use the magnet without the hook or just screw it in, and you are ready to go. As a test, I put a one on my garage fridge and easily hung my garden pruners. I will purchase these again and soon. Highly recommend

Solid magnets
They are good- just can’t hold a lot of weight.

Nice concept, but they don’t stick as well as promised
I was excited to use these DIYMAG Magnetic Hooks to hang up some kitchen towels and other lightweight items on the side of my fridge. The idea sounded perfect for clearing up counter space, and the hooks looked like they’d do the job.Unfortunately, the magnets don’t seem as strong as I expected. They hold lightweight items fine, but as soon as I tried to hang something slightly heavier (like a hand towel or a set of keys), the hook slid down the fridge and wouldn’t stay put. I tried repositioning them, but they just kept sliding, which was super frustrating. They’re not completely useless—if you have something very light like a recipe card or a notepad, they might work. But for anything that requires a bit more weight, don’t bother. The magnetic strength just isn’t there for heavier items.Definitely a cool idea, but the execution fell short for me. I wouldn’t recommend these if you’re looking for something more sturdy.

Hooks able to get the job done
Very good, does exactly as advertised. For me, my use was for a cruise I went on, and I needed a convenient way to hang things on the wall.Very easy to use, open up, screw them together and your good to goThe Weight each one is able to Hold, it help up enough for easy convenient items such as Hats, next days change of clothes, anything needed to grab and go.There is a weight limit for sure, anything past a few pounds you will need stronger hooks or multiple hooks. The Hook size is also a good size, able to hang what I needed to and did not “run out of” hook.Overall, would recommend / buy again or more of. Good product for money being asked to pay
