Ito En Matcha Green Tea, Tea Bags box of 20 (Traditional, Pack of 2)

This tea is so weak that there is barely a flavor. I have even made it in less water and still not what "matcha" is supposed to taste like. Very dissapointed. I wish I had read the reviews and saved my money.

Has a slightly grassy smell; jasmine scent is almost imperceptible until it is steeped, and even then it is minimal. As for taste, this is one of the mildest teas of any I have ever tried. This is the first Matcha I have tried, so I have no comparison with Matcha, but I have had white tea, oolongs, green teas of several types, darjeeling, lapsang souchong, numerous other black teas, herbal teas, etc, and this is by far the mildest I have ever had. In taste, the jasmine seems to be more prominent than the tea itself, even though it is still very mild.The tea box was slightly damaged when it arrived in a brown padded envelope, and the damage appears to have caused the perforated opening to come apart. This is a seller issue, however, and not a tea issue.Of all the jasmine teas I have tried, and there are several, my favorite is a jasmine green tea from Numi. If you're looking for Matcha, this is acceptable, but for Jasmine tea, go for the Numi brand green tea.

ITOEN IS MY FAVORITE MATCHA GREEN TEA. THIS JASMINE TEA HAS A GOOD FLAVOR AND I ALSO BUY THE ORIGINAL AND SWITCH BACK AND FORTH EVERY MORNING. ONLY THING IS, THE BOX WAS TOTALLY DESTROYED UPON ARRIVAL, BUT COUNT WAS ACCURATE AND NONE OF THE INDIVIDUAL TEA BAG WRAPPERS WERE AFFECTED.

This is hands down my FAVORITE tea in my house, and we have dozens. The flavor is delightful and never bitter, and strong enough that I’ll reuse the same tea bag for a second steep. My favorite thing about the tea is how FAST the steeping is! 30 seconds for a hot cup is great, but the fact that you can make iced tea in 2-3 minutes from cold water is a game changer. I love having my tea cold, but never want to devote the time to making hot tea and then chilling it, so this has been brilliant. Both the original and jasmine flavors are lovely, and everyone in my home loves them.

Love this green tea!! I drink 1-4 cups a day, sometimes adding vanilla almond milk and stevia and sometimes plain. Do not over steep as it then becomes bitter tasting.

I like to steep in cold water in my large water bottle and drink throughout the day. The flavor is amazing. It tastes like something I'd order from boba tea store without the boba or all that sugars but I can imagine I can add my own boba though. I let my coworker try and she loved it as well and asked for link to purchase. I would reorder this.

I LOVE Japanese green tea and it's hard to find the kind that you can make cold and hot from the same bag here. These are perfect and exactly like what my wife brings back from Japan every year! I love having green Japanese iced tea in the morning and hot tea on the weekends!Great product at an exceptional price!

I dislike this tea along with the plastic wrapped individual bags. Reminds me of something you’d find in a hotel room coffee bar next to the powdered creamer. If you enjoy weak tea you may like this but it is neither Jasmine green tea nor matcha, it’s more like an “instant coffee granules” version of tea.

In comparison it is somewhat expensive and the price should be revised downwards. That being said it is a excellent product with a truly very unique flavor. Love it!

Great product, but Amazon you have the pricing wrong. I was able to buy the same package for $8.95 at the local Chinese Superstore. I appreciate your convenience but the pricing is off.

Awesome Product. If you want to stay fresh and be active, go for it blindly. you will see your whole body feels like a air, energetic. Good for weight loss too if you people planning for it, but i didn't check the weight as this is early comment for my end. Will update the comment once i get to know how it is reflecting my weight.Thanks Amazon for this wonderful product. Try to sell all other favour also like Ginger, Chamomile.. Will buy it again.
