Excellent stuff
Overview- Great for guys who shave traditionally. Maybe for gals, too, but I can't speak to that! It gives a lot of creamy lather with excellent slickness. The slickness spoils me because I can go over the same spot without causing irritation more times than I can with other creams or soaps. It took a little courage to get past the thought thought that KMF stuff is for women. However, it gets lots of raves on Badger and Blade, a traditional shaving forum that is mostly male. Why didn't I give it 5 Stars? - This cream is labeled fragrance free, and I believe they did not add any fragrance to it. However, it still has a distinctive smell. I think the smell is the natural smell of the ingredients that is normally covered by the added fragrance in other creams. I didn't think too much of it, until my wife kept asking why the bathroom smelled like chemicals when I shaved? So, I switched to KMF Lavender with Shea Butter. I think it has less smell than this cream, and the added Shea butter is great for my skin. And my wife is happy. I was worried about smelling like lavender all day, but I barely smell it while I'm shaving, let alone when I'm done. How I use it- I use a shaving brush to build a good lather. I soak the brush while I shower, then shave right after getting out of the shower while my whiskers are still wet. I rub some of this cream all over my beard. How much to use will vary buy person, start out with a dollop about 1 1/2 inches long. After I've applied cream to my face, I take the brush out of the mug where it was soaking, shake a little water out of it, and begin rubbing the brush gently in swirls all over the cream. After a few seconds, it will start to build lather. The large bubbles will get finer and finer until I have a nice thick lather. If I think it is too dry, I dip the very tips of the brush in water, and continue swirling. When it's ready, I smooth it over my face and pick up the excess lather with the brush. The lather now resides in the brush and I set it on it's base, and reapply between each shaving pass.

No fragrance and is almost as good as the Aveeno Shave Cream
I don't know if anyone else has noticed the Aveeno, Fragrance Free Shaving Cream drought, but we did as the last precious can sputtered out it's final watery drops. We tried other products, not any of the AXE line (too scented, I can't comment on their ability to provide a smooth shave, maybe they do) or any of the other sandalwood-leather-hemp scented products that line the shelves at our local store. The most recent product we tried was EO Shave Foam with Coconut Milk (I lurve Coconut Milk). The EO was light and foamy (uh oh) and had a faint smell of coconut (nom nom), but my husband looked like someone had taken a cheese grater to his cheeks after he was done shaving. So, off to the store to find another replacement for the Aveeno.I like Kiss my Face lip Balm, so we thought we'd give this a try. The Kiss My Face Moisture Shave is thick, more gel like than lotion-y and unscented (truth in advertising, yay!) and adding water to the gel made it foam a bit, not a lot, but it didn't matter, we were more concerned with the prevention of shaving nicks and ingrown hairs (my poor hubby gets a lot of ingrown hairs under his chin even when he uses a new blade) than using a smaller portion of shaving cream. So far my hubby has used the shave cream four times and each time he's been pretty impressed with the performance, no more knicks than normal and there is a slight moisturizing effect that keeps his face from looking dry and windblown.I guess the only downside is that you have to use more shave cream than you do with the Aveeno, but on the upside, this Kiss My Face Moisture Shave costs less.

By far the best shaving cream
I have had eczema for years and this is by far the best shaving cream that I’ve used. No fragrance to irritate my skin, moisturizing, and the perfect consistency.

May have found my new shaving cream
While looking for a refill on my usual shaving cream, I found bad reviews on the "newly improved" formula. So rather than taking a chance on it, I'm trying a new product, mainly because I want more natural ingredients, and Kiss My Face has very good reviews.I agree with the reviews that claim that this product is too thin and doesn't lather well. It would be nice if it had the traditional foamy consistency, but that might be more of something we've learned to expect from shaving cream, rather than a characteristic that actually improves shaving. It will take some getting used to, but I'm open-minded, and it's not a big deal to me.I've only used this product a few times, but I think I'm sticking with it (at least the brand). I have very sensitive skin, especially my neck, and this gives me a very comfortable shave. Actually, I didn't realize my old shaving cream was perhaps causing more irritation, so I may have finally found a solution. It's completely odorless right out of the bottle, until you start lathering it, then it has a clay scent. It's not a really strong scent, but I don't like it, and fortunately it doesn't linger on my face afterward, so it's acceptable. Scented products don't bother me, so I might try another Kiss My Face shave cream with a more pleasing scent. Overall, this brand is very promising so far. Comfortable shave from a product with non-harmful ingredients.

Nice and easy!
My face is slightly on the sensitive side, but this stuff makes for a good first, second or third pass with a blade. I’ve used it on my face, and on the side and back of my head. It works well for a convenient quick shave, though not as nice as a traditional Poroso lather.

Chemical free smooth shave
This shaving cream provides a very smooth shave. The fragrance is indeed patchouli and has an earthy, sandalwood aroma that can be considered manly. There is no foaming because there is no SLS in it, but you would never miss it. It feels a lot like those shaving creams that use clay for the "lubricant" effect. The formula is packed with just natural ingredients involving various nut oils and herbs.I bought this to help me move from the Gilette-style shavers to the more elegant and manly DE razors (Double-Edged). I'm still practicing with the set I have so I don't have the hairs completely groomed, but I can tell you I have only nicked myself 2 times since February (when I ordered my DE razor from Amazon). An added benefit is you only need a little shaving cream to go a long way. I expect my bottle to last for ages. One more benefit was that I got the bottle with the nozzle, so I could do away with the badger hair brush and just get the cream dispensed into my hand when I needed it.

Not as good as was expecting
Please bare in mind that eceryone's shaving is highly individual, and although I found Kiss My Face wanting, someone else might find they get an amazing shave from it! This is my personal experience...After reading a lot about Kiss My Face shaving creams and how they're many (American) shavers 'go-to' product, I was a keen to give them a go, but this give an ok shave, nothing amazing I'm afraid, not offering the smoothest shave and not particularly suited to applying with a bristle brush either. I'll be sticking with the Body Shop's shaving cream I think.

Misleading ingredients
Misleading ingredients. There is a mismatch between the ingredients listed online and the actual ingredients on the bottle. The actual product contains phenoxyethanol (an ethoxylated compound that may result in traces of the carcinogenic molecule 1,4-dioxane). Phenoxyethanol was not listed within the ingredients online. Very very disappointed.
