Starwest Botanicals Organic Slippery Elm Bark Powder, 1 lb Bag

This is the BEST slippery elm I have ever bought by far and I have been incorporating it in my diet for over 20 years. I use it in gluten free recipes and as a milky drink mixed in Rice Dream at night. It's the mixing that is the fantastic thing. It stirs into the warm Rice Dream without lumping. Excellent value & excellent product.

Beautifully packaged. Lovely fine texture and mild taste, kind of like milky taste. Easily mixed with liquid of your choice with less lumping than other brands. I find that it soothes my stomach, I only have to take about one teaspoonful in the morning, I sprinkle it on my rice crispies with warm milk.

I have bought this product as advised by Helen Fitzsimons on her book Tanya's comprehensive guide to feline chronic kidney disease, bought also from Amazon, and it really works. I have 2 bengal cats with onset of kidney disease and I have used this powder for 2 wks now with great success, especially for one of my cat that used to suffer from constipation and sickeness, Both my cats appetite have increased considerably, they both have put some weight on, I am very pleased. seems quite good and fresh. took about a month to deliver, thought it was on the UK site but it was in USA, could be useful to add this information in the product details description.

Arrived a week later than expected but not too bothered as it came to Ireland. Good value compared to Irish prices too. Mashed with ripe banana and a drop of milk. Great for a recovering digestive system (crohn's disease). Would highly recommend and will buy again.
