no its really thin and nothing sharp.

there won't be any problems with the cases, that's for sure, the glass is located far from the edges

Q: Is there a version that is NOT case friendly? I don't use a case and want the protector go as close to the edge of the screen as possible.

Not that I'm aware of. Most people use a screen protector and case, so screen protectors are all (at least that I know) case friendly.
