If someone would have told me at the outset that I was going to pay this much for a dog bed I'd have found that laughable. On the other hand, it is a very nice piece, and I am happy with the purchase. My dog took to it immediately, and it seems to be his favorite spot to hang. It really is much more in the category of a "piece of furniture" than a "dog bed". It looks great in the living room. He's an 80lb Wiemaraner and he has a bit of room to spare. Assembly is almost nothing, simply screw the legs on. Well packaged, seems to have been built with care and is very solid/rigid. Seems built to last.

Got this for my 13-yr old 96-lb lab/pit mix. He had liked climbing up and sleeping on an old living room sofa. However, now, with some physical ailments, he has trouble climbing up there. So I got him this as a substitute. He took to it right away; and although he still occasionally climbs the old sofa (with my help), he uses this 90% of the time. It was a good fit for his needs. I think he likes it better than his old memory foam bed because with the elevation, it is more like the sofa he likes so much.

This is a perfect sofa bed for our Labrador, he loves it. It fits nicely with our furniture.

Absolutely love this dog bed more like a mini couch!! It’s much bigger than expected. My fur baby loves it too! Highly recommend this purchase. It is rather expensive but so worth the investment. Such a good looking couch very lux feeling. Not cheap looking at all.
