Scent lasts longer
I really like the smell of this fabric scent booster used alongside the matching fabric conditioner makes it smell fresher longer, and it makes your house smell nice if you have to use a clothes maid due to the weather

An unnecessary expense
I've recently tried a few of the different fragrances of fabric conditioner from this brand, and was disappointed at how little fragrance actually made it to my clothes. Sure, they were soft, but the smell of the different fragrances was almost indistinguishible. When I saw this - a product purely designed to make your clothes smell more, I really wanted to try it. It made me wonder if the manufacturers had deliberately taken fragrance out of their fabric conditioner in order to sell a separate fragrance booster product. Because that would be quite an anti-consumer thing to do.I wanted to try this in accordance to the instructions. You're meant to add half a cap full of this on top of your existing fabric conditioner. That in itself is an issue for me, because after using the prescribed amount of fabric conditioner in my machine means there just isn't room for half a cap of any other liquid. But I did my best, and put the rest inside one of those plastic balls that are meant for releasing liquid laundry detergents in the wash. After the wash, my clothes only had very slightly more fragrance than the ones I'd washed without it earlier in the day. The difference was so slight, I don't think I'd notice the difference when wearing clothes. But it might be useful if you have some laundry that's particularly dirty and smelly and you want to throw everything at it. But it was noticeable that the smell of both batches was less than using a supermarket brand conditioner, which I found quite shocking. For me, this is a product that certainly feels like it primarily exists to extract money from consumers. In my tests, it barely made a difference, but that could be due to the fact that washing machines just aren't designed to have double the amount of liquid in the fabric conditioner drawer.I wish they could just put an appropriate amount of fragrance in the conditioner itself, and the fact that this product exists seems to be an admission that they don't. But it's more complicated, more expensive, and produces more waste than doing it the old way.
