Great bed
Excellent bed one is done but very complicated to build it, Even that get the instructions you need 3 people and figure out which piece is going as they didn't bring any numbers according with the step to follow. I love it I recommend it but is very good quality but the only bad is the process to put a together

Woudn't even give it 1 star
When it arrived and was taken out of the box the holes drilled in the wood were incorrect, grated we were sent replacements but they have the same error with the pre-drilled holes. A lot of the fixings received did not match the instructions so had to wait for more things to be sent to us and now the instructions we have are completely wrong. None of it makes any sense at all and the company are now saying I need a joiner to fit it so expect me to spend more money on it than we already have! They also will not take the product back as they say it is past the return period which it wouldn't be if they had sent out everything correctly in the first place and made it easier to see that this product is completely substandard! If you want a bed that you can assemble using the instructions provided DO NOT purchase this! Although the customer services are quick to reply they offer ludicrous solutions that will prove costly for you.

Space saving
My husband read the reviews on how hard it was to put together, so expected it to be difficult, however, he built it without any problems at all. Had it up easily within less than 2 days ..so no problems at all with it..looks great and so easy to use

Murphy Bed Assembly Review – Not for the Faint-Hearted!
The media could not be loaded. If you’re thinking of buying this Murphy bed, be warned: this is not a simple flatpack job. Unless you have experience with complex furniture assembly, I would strongly advise against attempting this on your own.The instructions? They’re long and need to be read carefully. Take the time to go through them thoroughly. However, even with close attention, we found the section on attaching the bed frame to the cabinet lacking clarity—there was definitely a bit of guesswork involved.Firstly, while most of the assembly can be managed by two people, you must have at least three strong people when it comes to joining the bed frame to the cabinet. This part is awkward and heavy, and having that extra set of hands is essential. When it comes to attaching the bed frame to the cabinet, it would be helpful if the instructions suggested having something ready (like a prop or temporary stand) to support the weight of the bed during installation. We found that using sheets of thin wood to raise or lower the bed to the correct height made it much easier to align and screw in the connectors properly. Without this, it’s a very fiddly, back-breaking, and frustrating process trying to hold the bed in position while lining up the connectors. One important tip: drill the wall holders before fitting the white backboards. If you don't, you'll struggle to align them later through the tiny holes at the top of the bed frame—it’s near impossible once the backboards are in.Also, check your fixings. We couldn’t find any wall plugs or screws for securing the bed to the wall. Whether they were missing or we misplaced them, I’m not sure, but I was surprised these weren’t clearly supplied. Make sure you have the right wall fixings on hand before you start. The springs are a real challenge to attach. You’ll need plenty of patience, and don’t expect them to be right on the first go. Getting the spring tension correct is a bit of trial and error—it’s not clearly explained in the instructions. We had to attach and detach the bed from the wall several times, adjusting the springs each time, before we finally got the balance right. It’s absolutely vital that the bed is secured to the wall before you test lowering it—without this, the entire unit could topple over and cause serious injury. One major issue we encountered was with the latch on the right-hand side of the bed. As we were securing it, the latch ripped out of the wood entirely, and we were unable to screw it back in. I had to resort to using wood filler to strengthen the area and drill a smaller hole to refit the screw. While this held for now, I suspect it will break again with use. I’m really not happy about this at all, as I would have expected much stronger fixings or reinforcement in this area to properly hold the latch in place. For something designed to be opened and closed regularly, this feels like a weak point in the build. One thing to remember: the mattress is a key factor in the bed's balance. Without it, the bed will spring back up aggressively. Handle with care, and never attempt to pull the bed down without it being fixed to the wall.My advice is to spread this project over two days. Use the first day to build the wooden cabinet and bed frame, and the second day to tackle the metal frame, wall fixings, springs, and final assembly. You’ll need patience, a clear head, and realistically around 12 hours to complete this.Overall, we’re happy with the result. The bed feels solid and looks great, but time will tell how it holds up. For the price, it’s good value—but I wouldn’t want to put another one together!A Note to the Manufacturer:To make this product more user-friendly, I would strongly suggest labelling each wooden part clearly to help people with assembly. Also, creating detailed video guides for each type of bed would be a massive help—especially videos showing the correct spring attachment process and how to get the tension right. This part is far too vague in the current instructions. Simple visual tips like the bed support prop for cabinet attachment would save customers hours of frustration. Additionally, the latch fixings need to be significantly improved. The current design lacks the strength required for repeated use, and this should be reinforced with stronger hardware or metal supports to prevent damage.

Two people required
Prepare for a long day and two people working together, great quality and looks awesome. The standard uk double is too short for the bed so measure your existing mattress beforehand

Murphy bed
If you buy this bed, be prepared to spend some considerable time putting it together. It took 2 of us 12 hours to complete, I am an experience carpenter. The instructions and the video are in places unclear and vague.Thankfully my son and I are gifted with some common sense and experience, so putting things in the right place first helped. You learn fast which holes are which for the fittings.Make sure you have a large room that is empty. Part way through the making you’ll be left with 2 large bits of furniture that will need to be put together. The springs are a nightmare to put in, you need to do it with the bed raised, not clear in the instructions.DO NOT OPEN THE BED UNTIL FIXED TO THE WALL!!Nice sturdy bed when erected and fitted. An Ikea double mattress fits perfectly. The catch for the bed is a little feeble for the weight of the bed. But other than that, pretty good and worth the money.

Not a one man job, but looks amazing when done
The bed is amazing, the mechanism is good easy to close and open. Saves a lot of space. The only important thing is that it’s not easy to assemble, we were lucky to get help from a joiner who was was able to build it up in-under 5 hours, so keep this in mind.

The parts did not have any labels to know what goes where
It was the most horrible experience of my life. the instructions were rubbish and the parts screws etc were not labelled and even the videos on you tube and the video on amazon is completely irrelevant and miles away from the actual fitting
