Plate Hanging Discs Are Simple And EasyI purchased the plate hanging discs because I had a couple of plates to put on the wall. They were important to me and I didn't want anything horrible to happen to them. I don't care for the look of the brass cage plate hangers and I couldn't find a wooden frame that fit the plates handily so decided to try the plate hanging discs.I had heard so many great things about the discs before I bought them that I wasn't really worried. My only slight concern is the humidity (because the humidity where I live is dreadfully high)The application was easy as could be!This is EXACTLY what I did:I washed the platesCleaned them again with alcohol & dried themWhile they were sitting there drying I wet the glue sides of the discs very well with a couple spoonfuls of warm waterUsing my finger I spread the water all around the discIt had to sit there and soak up the water for several minutes (mine took about 10) until the cloth was ready & the glue adhesive prepared to work to maximum capabilityWhen it was ready, I positioned it where I wanted on the plate backs (I had pre measured the center & marked with a tape)Then I pressed like the devil!I made certain to get any bubbles out, make it nice & smoothWaited for the evening (a couple of hours) til it didn't feel damp anymoreThen I put a piece of cling film over it & weighted it with a merchant mariner's mug with several books on top and left it to cure a couple of daysI have no complaints! They hang on the wall nicely :DI've checked and they are holding fast. Will see how they do over time. It's very warm right now and where they are so it speaks to the integrity of the product. The lowest humidity we get here is 61%. I'm cold natured so I keep the place on the warm side with a fan blowing. I'm hopeful the discs will hold true! I really love the look - it's so clean and neat.I hope this has proved helpful for someone. I will add photos to show the plates and result.Have a joyfilled day : )

I love these! I used them to hang three of my grandmother's dishes I inherited--a platter and two saucers. The dishes mean so much to me, but I knew I would never be able to use them because I did not have a complete set. It makes me smile to see them hanging on my kitchen wall. By using the Hanging Discs, I don't see hangars or hooks, and I know I am not damaging my wall. The Discs seem very sturdy, and the hold seems strong. They were easy to use. I just followed the directions that came with the Discs.

They do exactly what theyre intended to do.Be aware of your plate sizing when ordering. If in doubt order a larger size and cut it down. It's easier to use a larger size than to use a small one and hope it works with the weight.I've had mine hanging for months. Every so often I look to see if the adhesive is coming loose. So far it has held up as good as the day I hung them!Definitely recommend!

I bought a wall tile and found that it had nothing on the back that would allow me to hang it. I found these, and they work perfectly! You have several size options, and I decided on the 4-inch discs, which ended up being the perfect size. The instructions are easy to follow. I let the disc dry overnight and was able to hang the tile the next day. Super easy solution for this problem!

I was skeptical at first then I did some investigating about these. You see, I have some very nice expensive plates and the regular metal hangers will destroy the edges and besides that they are ugly. Who wants to see hooks on your beautiful plates? I don’t so I was looking for something that would not scratch, even the metal hook hangers with the plastic on them look ugly. Well after doing some reading about these (they were invented in England) I bought them and I say WoW!

I love these things, but they are too expensive.

I was told by a friend that this was the best product to hang plates on the wall. They were right. They work great. It does take a day to dry before hanging for the adhesion to set up and bond.
