Natural and Effective for Ticks!
We had a tick problem with our dog after a few hikes, and Vet’s Best Natural Flea and Tick Shampoo was a lifesaver. After just one bath, we noticed several ticks coming off during the wash. The formula uses natural essential oils like peppermint and clove, which not only smell great but seem to repel pests really well.It lathers easily, rinses clean, and didn’t cause any skin irritation—which is a big plus and left his fur shiny and clean. I love that it’s a plant-based, chemical-free option that actually works. If you’re looking for a safe and natural way to deal with ticks, this shampoo is a must-have. Highly recommend!

Fleas you're gone!
This is a great product for getting rid of fleas ticks and other bugs in your yard. The best part of this product is the smell. It leaves a pleasant minty smell I guess from the peppermint oil in it. Also, it's okay for pets to go outside after you spray because it doesn't have those harmful chemicals. It's all natural. Works great. Will continue to buy refills.

great shampoo but may not kill fleas
Recently we went through the nightmare of my Pomsky getting fleas. He was sick and on antibiotics at the time, which somehow resulted in his getting fleas despite being on a monthly flea/tick med. This shampoo was one of many solutions we tried to get rid of the fleas. My dog's coat is extremely thick, dense and long, so it's very difficult to get close to his skin. I did see dead fleas in the bath water after using it, and I'd say it's just about as effective as Dawn dish soap at killing fleas. Which is to say, it will kill whatever fleas it comes into contact with if used correctly, but it does not necessarily guarantee your flea problem will be over and done with. In the case of my dog, it offered a little temporary relief but didn't solve the problem or repel new fleas. So, maybe not the best flea shampoo, but it is a really nice dog shampoo. It's been quite awhile and I can still smell it. Other dog shampoos have made my dog smell really bad in the aftermath; this stuff smells amazing and does do a really good job of cleaning the dog's fur. I would just strongly advise you do a test first to make sure your dog isn't freaked out by such a strong herbal smell.

Good shampoo
Works great. When I bathe my dog you can see the fleas just fall off. I always go back over him a couple of times after the first washing. It usually gets more of them off.

Sort of works, depends on several factors.
I'm sure there are many of us out there who would prefer to try a product that is far less toxic to humans, dogs, cats, the water supply, fish, etc. And the stuff most of the populace fights fleas with is absolute harsh and fairly dangerous chemicals from beginning to end. I wouldn't worry if my dog accidentally chewed on a bottle of this shampoo and swallowed some. I would be headed to the vet if she swallowed the concentrate of some of Adam's or Pet Armor and so on. Nonetheless, I still need a product that works, whether it is safer and natural or it is strong chemicals. Unfortunately for me and my dog, this shampoo was a temporary fix, like one or two days. I used it three times. One of the drawbacks is that it requires you to keep your dog still for 12-15 minutes (MINIMUM!) full of this soap, in the tub or shower. In my case, I have a six month old puppy who is husky and Malamute mix, is 55lbs (or more), has thick fur and a doublecoat, and is super hyper. I think with her coat she probably needed like 20 minutes soaked in double the recommended amount. I am not going to do that to myself or to her. Due to her lengthy experience in the bathroom and multiple attempts with this shampoo, she will no longer go anywhere near the bathroom. I don't blame her, and I don't blame the shampoo, but something is just not working here. I never saw any fleas come off in the water. She continued to have fleas and itch. We have used other stuff since using this shampoo and we are starting to get it under control (I have been using a diluted formula of neem oil, after much research). I did use a Seresto collar which was a $60 waste, it did not work and she scratched worse than she does without it. I also tried Advantix, and it was an utter failure as well. So I've taken matters into my own hands and it's getting better every day. Bottom line, I wish this shampoo had worked as a First Step, when she was only itching a little and had a few fleas. It did not. It might work for you though, probably better if your dog has shorter hair and can stand being coated in it for 12-15 minutes or more. Good luck this summer season!

Removes ticks and smells good
Works great from removing ticks from my dog who loves to lay in the brush pile and is a tick magnet. Smells good too and leaves her soft and shiny.

Smells great!
A little pricey, but so worth it! I used it for preventative maintenance for my pups. They are outside at least 30% of the day and don’t want to risk them catching fleas or ticks. Their coats are beautiful!
