Works really well on most cardboard. I was able to reduce several boxes to smaller, most convenient-to-transport sizes. I was actually surprised how long the battery life is. It cuts pretty quick. It's not too big so it doesn't take up a lot of space in my tool cabinet.

This product works well, but has not fully charged after 2 days. It makes me wonder if it is working at its potential. The first LED charge light has been green, the second yellow and the third red since I unboxed it 2 days ago. I might return it and try another brand.

Wonderful invention! Makes cutting tough stuff like rugs a breeze.

My first attempt to use this was probably a little overly ambitious. I had a large double thick (probably 1/4" or close) corrugated cardboard box that I needed to cut up to fit in my recycle bin. It cut, but not quickly and it got hung up a lot. I would have been better off with a utility knife in this case.Where this tool has really come in handy for me is with landscape cloth - the heavy woven stuff. Whenever I did landscape work around home previously, I would have to break out the really good scissors to cut it and even that was tedious. This thing slices right through it. Curves, angles, straight cuts. Quick, elegant, and easy. I'll stick to a utility knife for corrugated cardboard (although I'm sure this would work better on thinner cardboard), but for any kind of woven cloth, which can be an issue for utility knives, this thing absolutely rocks!I've only charged it once (when received) and haven't run the battery down yet, although I've only used it a few times. As I think some others have mentioned, I was a little unsure what was going on with the charging process. I just left it plugged in overnight and took off running the next day. I'm also a little unsure about replacement blades. It appears to use a pretty standard blade used by other manufacturers and I picked some up but haven't checked to see if they fit yet.I really got this on a whim and wasn't expecting to find much use for it, but I've been pleasantly surprised. Very quick and very safe. Just be careful, it's easy to get carried away and cut too far or into other adjacent materials - I accidentally cut about 1/2" into an outdoor rug the other day because it was next to the landscape cloth I was cutting!I kind of wish it came in a little bag or case. I'm sure I can find something that will work.
