Very durable, obviously ease of use and just all around the best mat. It also came with a wonderfully soft sweat towel and velcro ties to keep everything tidy.

I’ve been using this mat daily for two weeks, and overall, it’s a great product. It came well-packaged, had no chemical smell, and rolled out flat immediately—no annoying curling or settling time.✔️ Cushioning & Stability: The 8mm thickness hits a nice balance. It’s soft enough to be easy on the joints (especially my knees) but firm enough that I don’t feel like I’m sinking or losing stability. I’ve used it for HIIT, pushups, yoga, and stretching, and it holds up well across different workouts.✔️ Grip & Non-Slip: This thing does not move. I use it on laminate flooring, and even during high-intensity workouts, there’s zero slipping or bunching. The surface works well whether I’m barefoot, in socks, or wearing shoes. One side is designed to grip the floor, and the other for workouts. Both do their job well.✔️ Size & Portability: The 6’ x 4’ size gives plenty of space to move without stepping off. It’s especially useful for VR fitness since it sets a clear tactile boundary for movement. Rolling it up is easy, and the storage bag is actually big enough to fit the mat without a struggle.⛔ The Straps Could Be Better: My only complaint is the included straps. One arrived broken, and they feel flimsy and awkward to use. I ended up replacing them with Aolamegs 20x2 Elastic Yoga Mat Straps, which work much better.FINAL THOUGHTSFor the price, it’s a solid mat—comfortable, durable, and great for joint support. If you need a large workout mat with good grip and cushioning, this is a great option. Just be prepared to swap out the straps if you plan on storing it regularly.

I like this mat. The blue is pretty. It's comfortable and stays in place during at-home workouts. It's not really my type of yoga mat, which is fine, because I bought it for workouts not yoga. I wish it was a little thicker but I am able to do exercise moves with my knees on it without pain and that's really all that matters to me. I really like the large size of it compared to standard workout/ yoga mats. If I could afford a bigger/ nicer one, I would, but for the price this is a good mat.

Top quality product as described. Even its storage bag, storage straps and towel it comes with are nice! Lays flat with no curling at the edges. Very comfortable to workout on. You feel both supported and cushioned when using it. Highly recommended.Oh yea, if that’s not enough to encourage you to make the order, they are a small family operated business.Order the mat you won’t regret the purchase.

Finally added photos from when it arrived.******************************************************************I was apprehensive due to cost and the negative reviews, especially about the durability. However, this is a purchase that has made me very happy*I love the cushion factor (compared to a regular yoga mat)*My hands and feet don't slide at all on this mat (as I did on my regular yoga mat)*So far I have not had any issues with durability, but I use it solely for exercise/yoga and I do keep out on the floor most of the time, but I don't casually walk on it*My only wish is that I would have bought blue instead of black, and maybe a larger size (XL?) although this one (Large) is plenty large for my 5'4" frame. This isn't a size you would probably take to an exercise class or studio, but for home it is awesome!*I have experienced NO off gassing chemical smell with this product as I was worried about based on someone's review (I believe this product is made of all natural material based on what read on the company website, can't recall for certain).*The mat came well packaged, but not in a box... a large yoga bag with the labels on that bag. I was in new/unused condition as it came from Gorilla Mats, not some 3rd party seller (well...I guess amazon fits 3rd party seller..so maybe I mean 4th party seller?)*This product makes me very happy and it is nice to say I have had no regrets about the product or the cost. It has exceeded my expectations so far.

I purchased this mat for yoga. I must say that this is a great exercise mat, but I am giving three stars because it wasn't what I was looking for. It's great quality, sturdy, comfortable for exercise, non slip, and would be perfect for doing things like sit-ups or pushups, etc. However, I purchased this mat for yoga, and I returned it because I felt that it was not good for it. The material isn't "sticky" enough for holding your bodyweight on your bare hands and feet in several different poses. My hands slid around too much when trying out a basic downward dog pose (and, mind you, my palms were dry and not sweaty or anything like that). So while the mat is indeed thick and comfortable and good for exercise, it was not what I needed for yoga.
