For the price I’m pleasantly surprised at how sturdy the table is, and that it looks like real wood: very solid! It was easy to build it just took some time making sure to align the pieces correctly such as the chair parts (make sure you keep the holes for the seat in the correct direction because the instructions aren’t very clear). Tho it’s a straightforward build if you have common sense (coming from a college student).It does have two wood blocks on the under side of the table, this is used to support in shipping but wasn’t noted in the instructions. It unscrews out easily just use a flash light into the holes of the blocks to see what size you need.The chairs do have a burlap/strong chemical smell but it dissipates over time. The seats are comfortable if you have long femurs due to the length.For size reference there’s a photo posted. As for sitting in it, note I’m about 5’7” and 125lbs and I find it just the right size for me.

Good looking. Chairs difficult to assemble, I worry about joinery on the chairs. There are noticable gaps in the joinery. It is too pricey for the quality of product.

The set is small, but beautiful. Perfect for a small space. You're not going to be able to put a Thanksgiving spread on this, but I would recommend for a small apartment or dining area.I read a lot of reviews commenting about how difficult it is to assemble the chairs. Take your time- if you try to do this in a rush, you might mess everything up. I messed up my first chair, but I was able to fix it.My chairs DID have pre-drilled holes for the screws to attach the chair base to the cushion. However, you have to pay attention to how to assemble the chair base. The assembly instructions leave out an important step.As you can see from the pictures, you need to make sure that parts F and D are installed so that the hole is facing UP. I made the mistake the first time of installing F & D with the holes facing down, so when I tried to install the cushion, I got very frustrated thinking that there weren't any pre-drilled holes anywhere to install the cushion.Once you figure this out, the chairs are fairly easy to put together. I didn't have any problems after I figured that issue out. The chairs do take about 5-10 minutes to assemble, and some of the screws take awhile to secure.I wish the instructions mentioned what direction parts F & D need to face so that people wouldn't get so confused. The table was VERY easy to put together, though.Overall this is a great product but the assembly instructions need to be changed/updated/improved.

So we assembled the set and I am amazed as to how nice and comfortable and durable the set is. For the price certainly worth the purchase. Now for the long term test. The upcoming holiday season

Perhaps I got lucky but my set arrived in basically perfect condition. The table top is perfect and there are no chips or damage. The manufacturing date stamp is 12/23. The one issue I had was with one of the chair support pieces (part F) not being drilled correctly so I could not assemble the last chair.The company didn't have the part on hand and sent me another set of chairs. It got confusing as this set was stamped 11/23 and the assembly of the chairs was not quite the same as mine. My chairs have holes drilled for two wood dowels that center the cushion before installation. This second set did not. Also, the location of the three screws to fasten the cushion to the wood frame was different too. I didn't realize this when I borrowed the part F for my chair and just drilled a hole as I thought they had forgot to do so. The 11/23 version is clearly an earlier revision.The table and chairs come in separate boxes and may arrive a day apart.The chair assembly is lengthy. If you're lucky enough to have a cordless drill and long star bit to fit the bolts it will definitely speed things up. Just back off on the torque as the bolt metal is quite soft. Finish tightening with the supplied wrench.
