UGREEN WiFi Adapter for Desktop PC, AX900 USB WiFi 6 Adapter with 5GHz/2.4GHz Dual Band, Built-in Driver for Windows 10/11

This little gadget is a life saver! The Ethernet port on my PC gave up its ghost. Since I’m not in a position to fix it right now, this was the smartest alternative. It’s so so so simple. Just plug it in, follow the install prompts, and log into your WiFi account like you would with any other wireless device. It’s a lot smaller than I thought it would be - which I like. I have it plugged into my top side USB port because it was easy to plug in, but it would fit nicely in a back side port too. It’s a solid unit - doesn’t feel flimsy or fragile, connected to the internet signal super fast and launched its installation procedure on its own. It really did all the work - I just followed the prompts and clicked a few buttons. I think the best part is how affordable it was and how quickly it delivered. I would absolutely recommend this device.

Works great. I've been converting a mini PC to windows from Linux and after a bit of frustration, realized the internal wifi was not working. Plugged this in, installed the driver off of the unit and within one minute was up and running. The price it's extremely reasonable as well.

Pros:- Small- Supports WiFi 6 (AX standard)- Dual band (5GHZ and 2.4GHZ) support- USB A for almost universal compatibility- Works well and is easily recognized in Windows 11Cons:Only 1 transmit and 1 receive spatial streams (1x1)I bought this to upgrade my WiFi speeds on my 13-year-old laptop that is still humming along with no issues. However, its built-in WiFi is limited to WiFi 4 (Wireless N). The UGREEN USB WiFi adapter does support WiFi 6 but is limited to 1x1 spatial streams. The built-in laptop adapter has 2x2 spatial streams and even though it is limited to WiFi 4, it can often feel faster than the 1x1 WiFi 6 adapter when I have multiple operations in progress; especially when a backup kicks in in the background. To be clear, 2x2 WiFi 4 is not faster than 1x1 WiFi 6. 2x2 just lets me have a little bit more going on simultaneously over WiFi without feeling sluggish.I have a mixture of WiFi 5 (AC) and WiFI 6 (AX) access points in my home LAN all of which support 4x4 MIMO in 5GHz band and 2x2 MIMO in 2.4GHz band. This adapter easily connects to both and does provide the indicated WiFi 6 support when connected to a compatible access point.For my needs, this would be 5 stars if it supported 2x2. For others, this may not be a concern. However, I have found that I can be simultaneously connected via both the built-in laptop WiFi 4 adapter and the UGREEN WiFi 6 USB adapter.

Gratis product ! Easy to install, works perfectly, and the connection is fast and stable

Works well for basic router connections.However, after attempting to use with a Canon camera for remote photography it does not work at all. The transfer of photos never completes and the Canon software exits after the attempt. The remote shooting function works fine with the built in WIFI on my laptop but not with this dongle.

I needed a solution for a Surface pro 4 that the wireless card went dead in. Rather than spending more than the computer was worth to have a professional fix it; I brought this as a hail Mary. It loaded on the windows machine flawlessly. I was then able to download all the updates and do some general maintenance on the computer. (Side note, I had an older one of a different brand that would not work on it) I recommend this item. With it I was able to confirm the hardware was bad inside the Surface.

Great quality and it was as simple as plug and play. Setup runs automatically and you are set. Works well and the speed is awesome.

TL;WR -- only buy this if you need it extremely temporarily (less than a month) and can't afford a better optionWorks fine, when it works. Had it for about a month, and it just stopped. PC stopped recognizing it was there. Took it out, put it back in, had to rerun the setup exe. It said some nonsense about the files were modified externally so it couldn't run. Did the out and in again, and it worked.Kept working a couple more weeks. Now I'm sat here with no wifi cuz it did it again, and the exe is stalling completely this time. No activity, just flat lined.
